***Personally a 5 Star rating experience. One extra star solely for the great conversation we had with Manohar Uncle and Rashmi Aunty on top of the BIrthday treat. It was just like another home celebration for us.** *** Stayed 4N/5D in January 2017*** *** I dont review 4 star and 5 star properties i stay at coz they are usually upto the Mark. Instead other properties which might help find fellow travelers find places worth an experience are reviewed***** Pros: 1) Cleanliness: Very Good. Rooms are large and in great shape. Bedsheet are changed every 2 days. 2) Wifi Coverage: Good 3) Hosts: Awesome(In the beginning they might appear a bit strict but after a while its a charm), always carrying a Smile and willingness to share wisdom. 3) We stayed in both - AC rooms and Non-AC Rooms. We are rating the AC rooms here coz they are just about great with pets to enjoy and a great garden to spend quiet evening leading to great conversations. Non-AC Rooms are very basic without a balcony (which are according to cost, but i would greatly recommend spending extra for a better enjoyable stay here to chose AC Rooms). 4) Breakfast: Was complimentary and we enjoyed it on each of four days for it offered variety with taste. 5) Jodhpur Guides: Look no further as Uncle can tell about some gems of places to eat and roam. A dinner at Crossroads(nearby on Aunty's recommendation) was worth the visit. Adda Restaurant is another is a great and economic place to spend time/ have dinner. 6) LOCATION : Very Safe at night. High Court Colony is one of the best places to stay in Jodhpur and costs 80Rs(15minutes) from Local Bus Stand/ Railway Station. Use Ola/ Uber service that is available in plenty. Use only Google Maps. 7) If one is into Golf or Horse Polo, then do learn tips from Manohar Uncle who is a Veteran and regular at Jodhpur Club. 8) Payment Options: Available. In case cash is not at expense, then pay be Credit Card using Paytm. NEFT is also available. ***We booked online and got a great deal which was an added bonus for the place**** Cons: 1) Those of us who are new to concept of Homestay please know that there is no 24X7 restaurant. Simple but delicious home cooked food prepared by Aunty herself is available for meals. 2) Toiletries: Only Towels available. So, carry own toiletries just like we do when visiting acquaintances. 3) In Case you are late night trooper like me, then please ask Aunty for smooth access to rooms. 4) There is no TV in room but one can always enjoy a family TV experience in the Living Room. Overall an enriching experience coz it added to our wisdom and we had someone like our childhood grandpa's weaving tales of Princes and Queens. What else I was able to celebrate my b'day here with erstwhile royalty(Manohar Uncle has lineage in Royal Jodhpur Family) who were so down to earth and accommodating, all the time carrying a smile.
