I had to attend a conference at Jodhpur. The tariff at the venue of the conference was beyond my budget so had to select a little expensive hotel. The choice of Fern Residency was based on the brand name. The rooms are average. The service was above average. Though I had to wait to be allotted the room as my train reached very early, I don't have any complaints since its a tourist season. The breakfast was quite ordinary. Room service was efficient but the quality of food was just about average.

Friendly service, clean rooms with comfortable beds. The hotel does what it advertises. The main downsides were: intermittent hot water that has poor pressure. Also the food was a below standard in my view.

Stayed for 2 nights. First impression was disappointing as this place is the only hotel I have ever seen where we were not escorted to our room (even though I had a heavy trolley). But after entering the room, we were amazed. The Hazel Suite (which I got at a great deal at was well maintained and well furnished. The bathroom was amazing, including the herbal soap-shampoo etc. Everything inside the room was awesome, including the view from the 7th floor window. Few negatives: The staff was a bit indifferent. When I asked if they could arrange for a drop to station for our onward journey, they said they didn't have any such arrangement (I said I would pay, if needed). There was a weird humming sound in the room every few minutes, which really disturbed our sleep - maybe it was due to the lift motor or something, but it was very irritating. Food was quite good: varietywise, it could have been better, but overall it was great - especially the breakfast buffet.

It's a nice hotel which is located in between a colony. Very small hotel with little slow service. Had to wait for quite some time to checkinn. Room were big, nice and clean. Food was OK. Not much variety. Staff needs to be more professional in their approach. Over all I was satisfied with the hotel. Actually earlier I stayed in Ferns residency Mundra. Which was better than Jodhpur one.

We stayed here for a night after a day of sight-seeing in Jodhpur. It was fine for a night; room was mostly clean, bed was comfortable and we had a view of a beautiful building. As for location, it's not really the type of area you just wander around on your own, unless you can blend into the crowds. We also had dinner at their rooftop restaurant which has a great view of the fort but I'd suggest bringing a sweater in the evening and some mosquito repellent. Dinner was nicely seasoned although when it arrived, it was partly cold. We really enjoyed their authentic breakfast and the waiter service was good. However, we did need a repair in our room when we first arrived and the front desk seemed to forget about it; when we returned they told us it was fixed (which it wasn't) and we had to wait again. Staff was friendly, they just need to work on their responsiveness at times. Overall, this was an alright option for a night in Jodhpur.
