My wife and I stayed at this place for 2 nights. The rooms are nicely done up and comfortable. The vast open spaces i.e. gardens, old charm palace, lawns and chirping of birds and peacocks truly gives you a very peaceful experience - you are completely away from the hustle bustle of the city and can enjoy your time amidst beautiful nature all around. We stayed in the first week of Feb and thoroughly enjoyed a quite dinner with bonfire in one of the gardens - an ultimate memorable experience. The only thing not at all good about the property is the gym which is just for the name's sake. The main multipurpose machine was out of order. There are no free weights. No mats for floor exercises. Very disappointed to see this in a ITC hotel for the first time.

I stayed here for 2 nights in palace suite. The place is amazing which cannot be described in words. The whole area is calm serene and beautiful.....peacocks...birds...squirrels ..etc..were even making this palace more charming. My suit was royal with big room, nice books. service was very warm. I even have dinner at garden restaurant. The theme was really nice. However food was not that exceptional but yes not bad also. Overall a memorable stay!!

Had a great few days here - not long enough! Lovely room with a small space to catch the late sun and a lovely terrace overlooking the gardens. Only got to the pool once but it was beautiful. Hard to find the balance between sight seeing and some r and r in a wonderful setting!

Royal Rajasthan Royal Rajasthan

Stayed with family from 7th - 9th February 2017. We were celebrating my mother's birthday and the staff had kindly arranged for a birthday cake + balloons upon arrival in the rooms. We arrived quite late in the evening, but were pleased with the small gestures of giving us flowers and a welcome drink each. The rooms are built within the arches of the historical aqueduct that used to run above. This gives the rooms a very authentic feel. There is access to a small private garden too. The property is part of a 60 acre land and it was only until the next morning walk that we realised how vast the land actually was. Adorned with beautiful nature and wildlife, we enjoyed exploring the grounds. We came across squirrels, parrots monkeys, plentiful peacocks, horses and even bats! It is a nice walk up to the palace area where the lake is situated. It really gives one a pre-historic royal feeling. We spent one night's dinner at the highly regarded Kebab Korner. The food here was pleasant, especially the daal makhani. It was a cool time of the year in the evenings, so the log fires provided were gleefully embraced. The included breakfast had many options and the staff were very helpful in serving you a good breakfast. The masala dosa is highly recommended! If you are visiting for a quick stop, then perhaps it isn't your best options, as it would be a real shame to not explore the grounds of the hotel. I would suggest a few hours to see the whole complex. We also had a tour company who provided travel around the city, which worked well in regards to the location of the hotel. The hotel is about a 15/20 minute drive from the city centre, so bear that in mind if using local taxis etc. Overall, probably the most authentic hotel complexes I have stayed at in India, evoking a true sense of the Royal Rajasthan era.
