The excellent heritage property, rooms are spacious and clean. Morning walk in the property is a bliss. The property in itself is a must thing to do. Best place to relax in Jodhpur. On entering the property you have a feel good factor. Also the staff are very courteous and food is good
We stayed in the old Palace by the Lake, in the room Nr. 7 which was amazing, about 70 sqm with 2 separate bathrooms and a huge living space.
The Palace is located in a magnificent garden, with peacocks, monkeys and all sorts of birds.
The huge property is very well maintained and provides a very peaceful atmosphere. It also enjoys a magnificent pool, but the weather was too chilly for it at the time of the year.
Last but certainly not least, staff proved very nice and efficient, which definitely added to the experience.
A place we can only but recommend !
This hotel is set among amazing grounds, making it very peaceful. Our stay was incredibly relaxing and the rooms lovely (best showers in a hotel ever).
Our only criticism of this hotel is that it is over staffed, there is constantly a staff member at your side ready to help.
We booked a block of three rooms to accommodate family ranging from a one year old to a 70 year old, and four adults. I can't say how much we all loved this place. The staff are kind, friendly and so helpful -- our little nephew was ill and they helped make him comfortable. The grounds are gorgeous and well-maintained, and we spent so much time outdoors exploring the stables, farm, orchards, step well, palace, lake, pool...there's a lot to do here. We couldn't walk ten feet without seeing peacocks! Fantastic place for long runs, a bit of daredevilry rock climbing (only if you're seasoned), winding down with board games or a book, and the food -- it's outstanding. The dining services manager is very friendly and clearly, a lot of attention is paid to details. The waitstaff in the restaurants and throughout the hotel (porters, concierge, maitre'd, room attendants, gardeners, etc) seem genuinely delighted to greet you, and seem to enjoy working there. Breakfast has everything you could dream of and is fresh and TASTY. Dinner by fireside is cozy and romantic. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. I am pretty sure we'll be making an annual visit here.
