We booked the hotel online in advance. With four of us in a room it was well priced. Also for Indian standards it was clean. After the first night I asked one of the staff how much it would be to do my bag of laundry. He said 40 rupees per each big piece. I explained to him that I have many small pieces and would not pay more than 150 for everything. That's the price I would pay in Germany for the same amount of laundry anyway. He agreed and I gave them my laundry. I asked him two more times, if it is 150 and he said "yes". In the end he wanted 520 rupees first, later the bill showed 400 rupees and when we asked for the boss, we paid the agreed amount of 150 rupees. After that situation it felt like everyone was talking and laughing about us. Also suddenly we were not allowed to sit on the stairs outside anymore to have a cigarette or just use the wifi. It said hot and cold water on their webpage, but there is only cold water. You have to ask for toilet paper and extra towels. It's a shame that the staff are the way they are because the hotel has a good location and nice sea views from the rooms. Also big bathrooms.

We arrived at the hotel to find it very clean and nice. During our stay my girlfriend agreed a price for her laundry to be done at the rate of 150 rupees. She asked him to repeat 150 three times to make sure there was no communication error between them. When she received her laundry back they asked for 500 which is in our opinion very expensive but that's besides the point. They said that they never said 150 and laughed at us as they proceeded to talk and joke about us in tamil which we did not appreciate. In the end they agreed to accept the 150 and apologised to me. The apology apparently meant nothing as we were then treated in a hostile way for the rest of our stay. They started telling us to check out early and calling the room phone. They were telling us where to sit. They talked and laughed about us with the other staff in a language we did not understand. They actually did never consider that we would leave a review during any of this time?

-It is located on the main road, so our bus which runs from madurai to kanyakumari (government bus) dropped us here. It was around 9pm & rainy night so we didn't waste time to find another hotel. -restaurants & beach is in a walking distance from hotel. but restaurants are costly. -they don't have a fixed room fare. seems that they bid whatever they wish from different customers. so u have to bargain hard. we stayed one night in a non ac room & it cost 1000 INR. but they took 800 for same type of room from another couple. -rooms are spacious. but we had to change our room because of bad smells from toilet. front (road) sided rooms are noisy, back sided rooms give a limited view of the ocean. -they offer a very awkward time for check-out & it is 5pm. when in Kanyakumari, most of the travelers wishes to see the sunset. so check-out time should be 24 hours which will be convenient for the tourists. -they offer a package tour, but we didn't take it as most of the visiting places in Kanyakumari can be covered in a day by walking. -hotel manager helped us to manage bus tickets for Chennai but the person from whom we bought the tickets was very stinky. so it is better to book in advance, it reduces hassle. -they provide wifi only in the reception, not in rooms! speed was poor.

We were dropped on the hotel front by 10.30 PM by a broker who told us we would get a decent A/C room with all needed amenities here within 1000/- as already season got over. As soon as we got down, security guy told us there is no room left and we were shocked to hear that as it was already late and we were having a toddler who was already half-sleep. Somehow we went in and asked the front office and they also told the same and told 'only one room is available and all other rooms are booked for some conference. Even if you go out at that time and search for a room, it would be the same case as other hotel rooms also would be booked.' We were in a situation that we have to go for that so-called, only available room. And they charged us 1300/- and when we asked whether we will be able to continue for next day, they told abruptly that we will see tomorrow. When we got into the room, were shocked seeing the room's condition. It was like anytime the wall might fall, with full fungi, very much irritating and dis-pleasure to see. There was no dust bin in the room, we had to put everything in a corner. By 11.00 PM, we had to use cold water for our kid as there was no hot water. When we asked about the same in the morning, a service guy told there will be hot water only between 5.30 AM and 7.30 AM. And no body told us about this when we checked in. And when we asked about the milk in the night, room-service guys told us, we wont go that far and get, you have to go and get. For next day breakfast and lunch, even though they got it, they never gave us bill, they will ask money just like that. While vacating the room, there were 3 service guys, 2 of whom we had not even seen started plustering us for money. When we got rid of them and came out, even the security guy started pegging, even when we dont have a vehicle to park or look after. Very much dis-pleased.

Located in main road, just near to the Temple and sea beach. Rooms were clean and quite spacious.They don't have standard prices.Very irresponsible front office.The person on front office one of them is very Irritating.
