- Rude receptionists - Smelly rooms - Most of the rooms are under maintenance so AC ,fans ,lights are all in a bad condition. - Room service is very poor. - Had to shift the room at midnight because the AC was turning off automatically but none from the room service people came to help with the shifting we had to carry the luggage all by our self. There are better options nearby try booking those instead of this. Sunrise view is the only good part.

My first mistake was I booked the hotel via Travel Guru and somehow the booking confirmation was not sent to the hotel. When we reached the hotel to check in , the receptionist was rude and mentioned since you dint have the booking you can't get your luggage from the cab. With lot of hassle we were able to check in and then the deluxe double AC room was like a servant quarter and in place of an extra bed we get mattress put on the floor . With the price we paid for the room it had the worst amenities ever . Pathetic stay , Please avoid ders lot of better option nearby .

If you're on a budget trip, this is a good place to stay. The hotel exterior looks grand, but the rooms aren't luxurious or modernized. Well maintained rooms with the basic amenities. The best part of the room was the spectacular sunrise view. The hotel staff were courteous and made our stay comfortable.

Yeah can't say anything bad about it, great views on the rooftop!! Rooms on 4th and 5th floor have sea views with balconies which is nice Staff arn't the most friendly but they get the job done. Rooms are standard, AC and fan. Great location! Right next to markets, seafront and Gandhi's memorial!

I stayed at Maadhini couple of times in past years, because it's kind of a budget hotel in Kanyakumari. I chose them because of the decent tariff, eventhough their customer service, attitude and facilities were not so good at that time. Today I called them again and said I have stayed there before and want to book a room this weekend. The rude response I got from the receptionist was "We are busy now, you call later", and he disconnected the phone. I called them again, and got the same response again from another person. What kind of a hotel business they are running if they are not able to attend to a returning customer who wants to book a room? These days people expect 'customer delight' rather than 'customer satisfaction', and these guys are not even bothered about listening to a potential customer. You can choose Maadhini if you can compromise your self-esteem for a cheap tariff. Otherwise please avoid them.
