The hotel is easily accessible, about a km from the main road which goes towards Shimla. It is situated on the road towards Kasauli. The room is bigger than your avg room and fit for two adults with a child. The service was sluggish but we did not mind that as we were on a holiday. Anybody who wants to stay away from Kasauli (this hotel is about 6 kms away from Kasauli) can stay here but there is nothing spectacular to recommend in this hotel

I had stayed here for 2 days and was happy with room provided which is big enough with a balcony with a good view. Hotel staff are very friendly and courteous, especially one in restaurant who makes customer feel very privileged. Food quality was good. Only WiFi strength was too poor to be connected from the room.

Average hotel with big rooms, can accommodate upto 3 people in super deluxe rooms. Restaurant is not upto the mark, food is average, staff was very courteous but seems management is not interested in serving patrons. I wanted specific breakfast, restaurant staff was ready but front desk refused to permit him to buy some stuff. I later on talked to front desk and then they were ok! Room has balcony and view to the valley mountains. No wifi in room although it's mentioned in tripadvisor and hotel's website. 1st day I was told the range is weak due to technical problem and will be fixed within a day. Next day also I was not able to connect to wifi. It is available only in reception area and restaurant area, not in rooms. I was not happy with the cleanliness at hotel. Dirty white bedsheets, dirty pillow covers, unclean blankets and towels. Location is good but so is expected at any hotel in hill station. Think there is scope of lot of improvement if management and owners are interested. Reception staff was good.

It was an excellent stay at shivalik, Rooms are spacious clean. Room service staff with little bit of grooming in terms of customer satisfaction will make this hotel excellent in future. Special mention to Mr. Manoj Front office manager who ensured our stay was great and relaxed. Recommended for 2 days stay .. price apt and pocket friendy

A strategically well located hotel with a good view from its rooms. The good things about the hotel are: A very helpful front desk manager who is ready to help you at any hour A good view from the rooms Parking and driver accommodation availability Well maintained clean rooms with prompt room service. The only drawback or a minor thing that needs to be looked into by the hotel is that of training of the room service staff. They need to be a bit more professionally trained for serving guests better. A special mention of the hotel manager Mr. Manoj who has helped us a lot during the trip due to our last moment change in plans. He ensured that our stay was comfortable. Highly recommended.

This a very nice hotel to expend one or two nights. Even if it not a great hotel, the staff is very very nice and the do their best to please the guests. The balcony sight is incredible. Good option if you are around.
