Kashid Beach Resort is located on the Hilltop which is also just a walking distance from the beach. I spend 3 days with my family and all of us enjoyed it throughly. Ample parking space for my Car . The Room is quiet spacious with separate Bed for Kids. good was excellent and served variety of food from Malwani to continental . Very courteous staff members . in-house TT and Careme Board were there for recreational activity. Must go to Sea beach which is very beautiful, clean and the sand is pure white. Done sea activities in the private beach pArt where they take care of safety and security . Over all a very nice and memorable experience for me and for my family.

This is the second time I went to Kashid. Last time we had stayed there and happened to be the only group during off-season. The hotel is maybe 3-4 stars, but if you want Marathi/Konkan seafood preparations, this is the place. Every morning we could ask for what fish we wanted, and they accommodated and the food was wonderful. This time six of us stayed at an adjoining house and Praveen Kumar, the manager, offered to deliver the food to us to our specifications, and "make our stay memorable", his words. The food was great and he was true to his word. Thanks Praveen, and you have a very good Chef.

Stayed here for 2 nights and we had booked three rooms. It is a short 10 min drive from the main Kashid beach. Advisable to have your own vehicle - there is no public transport available. Overall, I feel that the property has so much scope for improvement. Positives: - Large rooms - Comfortable beds - Very tasty food at the restaurant - Reasonably good service - Our rooms had a nice balcony type area with some chairs and tables which was nice Areas for improvement - The bathrooms are not clean. For a resort that charges so much, the bathrooms need to be spotlessly clean and need to have have modern amenities. The floor and tiles are dirty and the commodes look old with stains. - The A/C cannot be adjusted to change the temperature. It runs only at 1 speed. - The wifi is available only in the lobby. But even worse, they switch off the wifi after 10 or 11 pm at night. It gets switched on again in the morning around 10 AM. You will not get any private mobile operator's signal anywhere in the resort. Heard BSNL works occasionally but not sure. So if you are planning to do any work, it is virtually not possible. - The common area has a TT board with a broken net. All the TT balls provided to us were broken. - The resort does not have any large open space and play area that can keep small kids engaged. - While the food was very tasty, many of the dishes were also very oily. If they could reduce the quantity of oil used in cooking, that would be great. - The transition to and from the genset when power goes and returns is not seamless and there is a good 1 minute of wait. - The tata sky connection in my room ran out of charge during the stay. It took almost a day to fix this. This resort can be so much better if they fix a few things.

Probably it was because of the off-season, but the huge property atop a small forested hill just a short walk from the beach could have been a fantastic place to stay or eat, but for the lack of interest and service. The walk up the hill is bit scary in darkness and the beach is about 500-700 meters away. Maintenance needs a bit of attention and restaurant steward needs serious motivation. Food is standard fare and the local Malvani or Konkani cuisine is not offered. Food preparation is extremely tasty though - hats off to the cooks. ample parking space available. children can enjoy nature in day time.

I visited Kashid beach resort with my family on 01-02oct 2017. I had booked 3 rooms in Aug 17, very well in advance, giving them chance to make a clean and 4500 per night worth room available on 01oct. But unfortunately we had unpleasant experience as listed below: 1) bathroom was unclean. Commode + tiles had brown stains - when we called for house keeping, no one turned up to clean 2) bucket provided in the bathroom had multiple holes 3) geyser was not working in all 3 rooms and when we called the reception, they sent a guy to repair geyser. After 1 hour, the guy gave up and said he will get a bucket of hot water whenever required instead 4) no cell phone network in the entire resort area n wifi available only at reception area 5) all walls of the rooms were patchy n stained 6) towels only available if u call reception n dont expect clean white towel 7) AC works only on one set temp and cant be controlled by remote. It can only b switched on or off- no other option 8) TV was not working unless we called for somebody who could repair it 9) I was charged 4500 per night + 250 extra for breakfast When I complained about this to the manager, he said he didnt get a chance to renovate after monsoon this year but if u see the photos posted in 25dec 2016 review- nothing has been changed. This trip was my 4th stay in this resort and unfortunately the worst one ever. The quality and management of this resort has evidently gone down and I dont plan to go back to this place ever again. After my recent trip to kolad for river rafting, me and frdns decided to continue our trip with a stay at kashid beach. As it was an undecided and unplanned trip we had no reservations near kashid. But as we reached kashid we finally came across this resort. We were four frnds and needed a room just to spend a night . we were charged 4000 RS for single AC room which had one master bed and a sofa cum bed. The room though small still had sufficient space to manage for us four. The room overlooks to a garden which has a couple of chairs and a table. The room was ok but the bathroom , though clean , was outdated an looked terrible and needs a lot of upgradation. They don't serve liquor but it can be arranged at request with extra charge. Overall the stay was ok had the bathrooms being good it would have be more pleasant. Over all the property is big and worth a visit only if u can manage outdated bathroom without a geyser.
