The Location of Hotel is OK. Food not so good. Staff behaviours was very very very poor. They don't have talking seance, how to talk with customers. Even who was sited on reception, he also don't have talking seance.
Poor customer service and highly unprofessional
We reached Vaishno devi and started our journey on 5th may, and reached back to Katra on 7th may, 1 am at night. We checked into this crappy hotel and told them that we ll be vacating the room at 5 pm, 7 may. The person at the reception said we ll have to pay for a day and a half, since 12 o clock is the standard checkout time, to which we agreed, we had to make an urgent call and left the hotel at 4 pm. But because of some network issue at all the STD booth in katra, we could only manage to reach back to hotel at 6 pm. The hotel manager, Mr. Om Prakash. Who is the most uncivilized and uncultured man i ve ever came across, made us pay for the entire day. So, in a span of 17 hours, they made us pay for 2 days!! This is the professionalism they showcased to the tourists! Moreover, there restaurant was under consrruction, which forced us to order food in our rooms, inspite of being willing to sit in the restaurant. It was definitely not our fault right? But we were maade to pay the room service charges extra for the order! My geniune advise to them: sir, why dont you take a knife and get onto the roads stealing people, rather than making a fool of them once they checkin.! The bill they gave us had so much overwriting and corrections everywhere, attaching a copy of the bill. That would show you how professional they are in clinet handling, and they straightaway refused to issue a new bill. The bill also shows the payment that we had to make for two days, inspite of staying there for less than 24 hrs. Shame on you guys seriously. Worst experience ever!
Let me summarize my experience at this hotel..
We took our yatra parchi from shrine board office near bus stand, where we wer approached by agents/ staff of this hotel for booking...
We were 9 people & person at reception (don't remember name, i think it was bhagwaan) told us that we can take 3 rooms @900 & hotel will adjust us..
Then came the shocker at the time of check out:
That arrogant & manner less person asked us for 600 more Rs. on pretext of extra mattress..
When we refused, we were shocked the way he behave, by pointing his fingers at ladies in our family, shouting that mata rani will curse us, take back your entire money.. tumhare jase bade aate hain...blah blah.. Other hotel staff tried to calm him down, but this guy was looking determined as if he will murder us..
(these are usual tactics resorted by hotels/ pony men, and other shopkeepers in katra/ jammu... They resort to blackmail using mata rani's name to extort more money..)..
If you care abt dignity of ur family, stay away from this hotel!
It took them 2 hrs for providing morning tea!!, that too despite 4 5 reminders...
Will never stay at this hotel again..

Don't ever try to book this hotel now a days. In earlier it was very good hotel to stay with family or friends. But now they offer only 2 hrs light to you. Their are no arrangements for generator backups. Whenever i asked about the light on reception they said sir ladke lge hue hey 10 min. Mey light a jayegi. The hotel is very costly according to its infrastructure. Now many hotels near bus stand katra are available at very cheap rates. I would recommend everyone that never try to book a hotel tridev.

This hotel is placed at a very good and safe location, view is exellent from window. Heater, geaser facility is available.
This is very good hotel for one who is bit concern about budget.
