Hotel was vry good to stay. Attendant in the restaurant of this hotel might be new as he was unawre of many dishes in menu card. Service is good. No billing hassles. After checkout me and my family was going to bus stop by foot. But the hotel cab followed us and the driver insisted us to sit in the cab. Overall very good hotel to stay in katra and also not to expensive.

I had been very bad experience , since I was excited to get one more travel option. I felt ashamed before my family by taking two hotel options . I took my first hotel Mount Shivalik at Patnitop. as I reached at Hotel they said we had cancelled your booking and it is informed t. Why didn't share it with me. I was standing out of Hotel till 10PM with my family and two little kids in very cold. I called up many times to but no one picked up the phone and no solution given. I had to beg with the Hotel Manager to get in because of my family. even same thing happened with me in Hotel Vishal. Please don't do this with anyone. people can not suffer with family, and such situations only can be understood if you are stuck with it.

During my visit to the Vaishno Devi Shrine, I stayed at this hotel. This is a comfortable hotel to stay and the lunch / dinner buffet available is also quite nice. Not a cheap hotel but not expensive either.

Had stayed here with a reference of my friend. Its a average property with a courteous staff, the rooms are average and so is the food quality. Over all it was a decent stay but there are better options available.

My second stay in this hotel after 2 years. Stayed in last weekend of June 17 for 1 night. The hotel is in a quiet lane off the main road which is peaceful. The management is very kind to provide transport to the Mandir entrance and back, as well as to the main road at no extra cost. We arrived at a time when the hotel was fully booked for a regular group that visits every year, hence we were given a back facing room which was not in the best shape. The a/c worked good but the remote is not provided in the room, the wall needed plaster and paint, bathroom was just okay. The food from restaurant needed more attention. The internet worked on my phone this time, hence did not visit the lobby to use their wifi. The owner and manager are well known to me, who regretted that they were not able to provide a garden facing room like the last trip, however they kept my luggage safely the evening before we were to check in the next day and also allowed us to freshen up before leaving for Holy Darshan. All this kindness can't be ignored. This is not a 5 star hotel but it is

It is a filthy and terrible hotel (which) is not cheap and should be avoided at any cost. Cannot recollect anything good or worthwhile in this hotel that can be mentioned. The wifi works only in the reception and the front office clearly are not trained.The rooms and bathrooms are very unclean.

We stayed in Hotel Vishal from 31st March to 5th April (5 nights)....It is situated near the market place, but away from noise and crowd....In other words, it is perfectly situated for the tourists.... They provide the pick up and drop from the railway station, Banganga (the starting/ending point of the yatra) and even to the Helipad....You can ask for the pick up drop at any moment of the day....We returned from Yatra at 4 a.m and even at that time pick up from Banganga was provided....Its just a matter of phone call.... We took a double bedded A/C room (room # 402), with a lovely view of the Trikuta Parvat....Even the helipad is visible from the balcony of the room....Rooms are clean and well equipped....Bed sheets and towels were clean....TV, fan, A/C, intercom, everything was in a working condition....They have a generator backup too The restaurant is called Tripti....The food is delicious....Only veg food is available....From breakfast to lunch to dinner, every food is fabulous....They have options for everyone....And I must not forget the black coffee....It was so perfect.... But the most positive point for this hotel is their staff....They are very courteous and polite....Be it in the reception, restaurant, room service, everyone is so helpful and decent....Mr.Rana and his team scores a 100 on this front.... Overall a VERY GOOD HOTEL....Thoroughly enjoyed....
