Good hotel or a resort. Have ample parking space and my kids enjoy the e-car travel upto room. Rooms were specious and clean with clean bathroom. Food was good and teasty. However, service was not upto the mark and the day shift dining room persons were busy with cellphones only.

We checked in little late in evening.. and there was a group check in going on. Despite of busy reception.. we were in room in 5 min.. that was good.. rooms were good and spacious..TV with tata sky working with almost all channels. Only restaurant service is not upto the mark.. I called room service around 08:30 pm and they were like .. sir no snacks only dinner is available, Also he asked me to order 09:30 pm only as we will close the restaurant 10:00 pm while On menu card it was clearly mentioned restaurant timings are till 11pm. Also they did not had any tandoor items.

United 21 has a nice lobby you are happy when you enter the lobby in this remote corner of India that something like this can exist in this wilderness. If only the rooms matched the lobby. The rooms are ok sized but very basic, its like its just been built hastily but the finer finish that is needed is not in place. There are stains in places, the paint is uneven etc - luckily there is hot water at all times in the bathroom and towels, bed linen etc were clean. Perhaps given its location in remote Kaziranga it is expecting too much to have 4-5 star ambiance. Sleep quality is great even though its on the main road there is not much noise and it is enclosed in its own garden (which is not maintained). The pool was not open while we were there. The staff was very helpful especially with the safaris etc that we had to take. Though things are a bit pricy especially the food which was just average, We stayed for 2 days and as such we did not face any problems and loved the safaris we took. If they renovate the place a bit it will be an excellent hotel.

Stayed recently during the kaziranga visit... Place is very well designed and infrastructure is good. But the maintenance is pretty poor. service is poor and under staffed. The front office staff are clue less and usually in tourist places like this the staff will be approachable but I found all the staff across in this hotel completely detachable...If they improve on service, with location and infrastructure it will be great place

I have so many negatives to go through about this property I thought I will mention the few positives first. The location is quite good, it is on the main highway and hence very easy to approach and all four of the ranges in Kaziranga are very conveniently and quickly accessible. The food at the restaurant is also decent quality and we never had an complains on that front. Having gotten that out of the way, let me start talking about all that isnt right about this place: The resort is originally built in a nice open kind of way with a big lawn and rooms straddling it. Unfortunately at some point these guys clearly stopped caring to clean the lawns and you can see bits of plastic strewn there. Also there is a small pond right at the beginning of the resort which is extremely poorly maintained and had plastic bottles and algae galore. To be honest looking at the state of the water body, I would really shudder to stay here in summer as it looked like an ideal place for mosquitos. Thankfully in December we didn't experience this. The rooms we got on the evening we checked in were shocking. We had no hand towels. One of the bath towels had these strange orange marks over it whose origin I dont even want to contemplate. There was no soap at all in either bathroom (!). The toilet seats although clean were these weird faded colors which looked like its best days were well behind it. We assumed given the location, this is probably not too bad and we did ask them to provide fresh towels and soap which was done. The next morning we realized we had no hot water at all, and about 5 minutes later no water what so ever. This is quite annoying at 5am in the morning when getting ready for a safari, especially in a cold bathroom. Eventually after searching around we found a guard who could switch on a motor to get us water but no hot water. Also there were no kettles provided in the room which I thought is a pretty standard thing to do these days. On returning from the safari we complained quite a bit and were put up on these rooms on the other side of the resort where we were very happy to see both a consistent water supply and a geyser that actually worked! These rooms were the same built and price just better maintained. They even had kettles and morning tea supplies. I fail to understand why the hotel would check guests in to the worst rooms first, and not the best ones. Very strange kind of customer service. There is a swimming pool on the property, but in the 3 days / 2 nights we stayed there this was being cleaned and we never got a chance to use it. Another point worth mentioning is that although they have electronic payment available they only gave us the room on agreement of atleast 50% cash payment. This I assume (and hope) is a consequence of the recent demonitization, but I would still expect establishments like resorts to be more client friendly and not be asking for cash payments. Eventually given our experiences we were given a 20% discount on the stay which was a nice gesture. But unfortunately the whole experience was a bit sour hence my rating of the place. The property location is good and is built on a nice area as well. I really wish they can improve this place as it has a lot of potential but at present doesnt live up to it at all.

I stayed there for one night. The room was spacious and clean with all the facilities. There is open sitting space outside every room. However, the quality of food was not good. We tried Daal tadka, crispy chicken, chilly mushroom, chicken biryani and bread omelette. Only bread omelette was satisfactory. Food is the reason for not giving 5/5 to this hotel.
