This lovely hotel seemed recently refurbished, and unfortunately was fairly empty during our three night stay last November. The welcome could not have been warmer, and all the staff were ever so courteous, caring, friendly and helpful - doing whatever they could to make your stay even more pleasant. The grounds are generous and beautiful, nicely landscaped with a very nice pool and a small gym (alas, we didn't have time to use either). The lobby is very tasteful with a grand marble staircase, nice furniture, some beautiful artwork and some pretty watercolours in the corridors.
We loved our room: very spacious with a great bed, nice decor, good Wifi and TV, a desk and a sitting area. The lighting was very good, but there were too many switches which could be confusing - too much trial and error. There was no safe, and no shower screen/curtain in the bathroom with a great shower. I spoke to the manager about this, and both these issues were already being addressed, so should be sorted by now. The only other quibble with the room was the lack of drawers or shelves inside the wardrobe. There was a long open shelf along the wall, but overall one good do with some more storage space.
Breakfast was good, especially when the buffet was available (this, understandably, depended on occupancy rates). I was thrilled to see some dark wholemeal bread, a rarity in India, and so wholesome and delicious! We loved the fresh watermelon juice and the fruit, also the various curds. The Indian breakfast dishes were excellent and so were our cooked to order masala omelettes.
We didn't use the restaurant for other meals - the prices were actually a bit on the high side, and unfortunately the bar was not open at the time of our visit.
Locationwise the hotel is just about walking distance (at a push) from the village and the temples, but we usually found a tuk tuk quite quickly and at a modest cost. A great place to stay, you will not be disappointed - we loved it!
I went there for a training program along with 40 participants, Got excellent service, staff was courteous and rooms were spacious and comfortable, Mr. Mukesh, Property Manager was very helpful and accommodating. Food was nice.overall good value for money
The property is conveniently placed. All the main attractions are within 2 kms of the hotel. Hotel is a bit overpriced, other than that its a nice, clean & good hotel. Food was good but costly. Staff is very courteous & helpful. We are specially grateful to the Restaurant Manager who supported us in every way possible and fulfilled every request we made for our 15 months old baby's food. It was an amazing experience.
An excellent location in khajuraho to stay. Its very near to the Western Group of Temples and serves the purpose. The rooms are nice and clean. The place serves good food and the staff is also very cordial. The only reason I gave a 4 star was that it does not have a bar.
Mint Bundela is a decent Hotel close to the Temples. The rooms were Comfortable with all facilities. The food was delicious. Good Service. Safe for family. Price a little bit higher, maybe due to the dates I booked, 31st December.
