The staff at this hotel were quality people - nice, helpful, entertaining, but the rooms left a lot to be desired. The room was big and looked out towards the temples, but it appeared to have never been cleaned. Okay that is an exaggeration, but they were quite unclean. We saw 3 different rooms before deciding on one. The bed sheets were in terrible conditioned, not sure if it is because they were never washed or just so so so stained, but they were even disgusting for a budget indian hotel. The bathrooms were not to far behind. The sink was barely hanging on the wall with a constant drip coming from it and you couldn't get it to turn on anymore than that. Cold bucket showers were possible in the room which I don't mind. The toilet was very disgusting and only flushed after two or more attempts. All things said it still is decent for the price. We were able to get very cheap room because the management was so nice. And they even picked us up from the train station ( we meet his buddy in a different city). We ended up switching hotels the second night. Oh it is close the Main Street and the temples.
