Not good hotel for a middle class family... location of hotel is good,near to bus stand and we can see the sunrise and sunset as shown in picture but services provided are poor to the room rent of Rs.2000/- I just went to restaurant and looks very nice in dining but the kitchen found horrible!!!So i didnt took food from there and theyre not preparing based on our requirement,their breakfast menu only consists of poori too very costly Rs.50/-per poori. That too found not fresh...Friends not opt for this hotel... Room found neat and clean...Thats the only plus point I can say...

Hi ...I visited kodai with my gf ...we had very bad experience in this hotel ...we had traveled all-day 550 kms and was dam tired ...but as soon as we reached i felt the hotel was nice ...once we entered the room ...the hotel service was very is not room there is no fan regulator controller to control the speed hot water ... completely it was a disaster frnds pls dnt visit this hotel ....better go for something else

The most terrible hotel in Tamil Nadu.... Not even 1 star level... It's just a lodge level with terrible staff service & facilities.... No lift, no wifi, no double pillow per person, no consistent hot water & bad staff attitude... Strongly advice to avoid this D class lodge.... Staying her no different from staying in worse lodge. As for the restaurant, they rent it to others & the service & food are superb strongly recommend this restaurant.

rooms were clean, neat. Good house keeping. The rates were also reasonable. Very good location. Pleasant environment. We stayed only for a night with my family, but had peaceful experience. We had a superb view of the Valley and sceneries...I booked it online with many offers....

I have been to kodai thrice and overall I would suggest travellers to avoid this place as this is not at all worth the money (2500/night) since it was last minute plan we happen to choose this n regretted. Nevertheless below are my pros and cons Pros 1. Close to bus stand, lake, Croakers Walk 2. Hot water available 24/7 3. View is decent Cons 1. We paid 2500 per day no mineral water provided in rooms. 2. No complimentary breakfast. Worst is they have food place which looks like some broke place with horrible look and cleanliness. 3. Rooms do not have ventilation. Just because you at hill station doesnt mean you dont inhale oxygen. Guys its may month and expected to be humid at times. 4. Room 206 is just after stair case and its noisy. 5. Hotel is just above locality of kodai hence we witnessed noise and never peaceful. 6. Checkout time is 9:00AM seriously?? People come for holiday and not for military hostel. Sorry I fail to understand this logic which is not even 24 hours. 7. Unprofessional and penny wise foolish management We had booked this place for 19th and 20th; I had made calls to Hotel twice to inform them that my return will be on 21st 19PM and let me know if i need to pay extra or book other day as my check out is late. Response from Hotel was "Sir you please come we will adjust". On the day I arrived again informed them that my check out date is 21st 19PM.They were all ok and 20th Morning they call us inform us that we need to pay 2500 and they give us smaller room; Which is atrocious behaviour. Management intent is clear they want to just loot and take bookings as much as possible in peak season, not really bothered about customer hospitality. I think these kinds of crook places should be avoided and make them realize not take customers for ride.
