I was denied the accommodation even though i had a proper booking done 13 days prior to the date of my check-in. I was told by the person at the reception that they haven't received any intimation from TravelGuru regarding my stay at this hotel and neither the booking amount was credited in their respective account. It was a terrible experience at first as i had an overnight journey and was accompanied with my family. I was fully tired and was left to call the Travel Guru Customer Care for the same. I waited for nearly one and half hours talking to various customer care people. At last on my request TravelGuru arranged for an alternative accommodation for me. I thank TravelGuru for arranging the alternate accommodation. But my first day at KodaiKanal was already spoiled as half of the day was already over. I am using TravelGuru for many years and this was the first of such incidents which happened to me. I hope Travel Guru should take care of such incidents where there is some issue regarding the money settlement with the hotel. As a customer we have paid the full amount to TravelGuru this kind of harassment is not at all expected from our end. I hope TravelGuru will take the necessary steps in near future to avoid such mismanagement.
