Hi Team, I was very unimpressed by your service. Firstly I was neither sent a mail nor an sms on my booking confirmation. I used many travel sites but found travelguru so annoying that after giving a call to customer care also I was not sent an email. I was kept waited by the Hotel Reception Staff for 1 hour for e-mail confirmation which was never sent even calling the TG customer care. Finally the hotel authorities got the confirmation from their Head Office. Secondly, I thought that TG had given me the best discount compared to others. Once the booking was done I was suprised to see that the same booking costed me Rs 500/- less on other travel sites. If this is the case why should I ever visit Travel Guru. Please not that I m not offending but the fact is I was disturbed by the service. Regarding the hotel, I was impressed by the property. Had a very good time. The staff approach and attitude are not good. I was kept waited for 1 hour at the reception for not having a confirmation hard copy.

First I like to thank Travelguru for offering good rate for Resort. Becasue when I enquirred Room rate in resort, Its less than half price. The hotel is really good with lot of spaces around. They have arranged night camp as well as Gaming activities at evening. If you don't want to spend sight seeinng,they have lot of indoor games for kids as well as adults where you can spend your time. Even room serive and food service are excelleant. The completment Breakfast is excellent with more than 15 varities and I felt food prices for lunch and dinner are little high( Ex : Milk cost around 70 Rs including Tax). They have arranged sight seeing as well as Trekking too. It't really amazing experience overall. Definitly if I want to go to next time Kodai, Sterling will be my first choice.

The room had a beautiful view and the location of the resort is great. We faced issue that we had to ask for everything whether complimentary mineral water bottles, toiletries like soap and shampoo, towels etc. Nothing was provided till we asked . This is not the expectation from a reputed chain. Breakfast was good however we had a worst experience in taking the dinener there. The makhani dal and the mushroom masala vegetable was stale and double the salt. The steward tried to help by getting the same dishes to taste better ( not replacement mind it!) but still not eatable. We raised the concern and they agreed to cancel the bill. Other than location and the activities for the guests, this place has not got anything much positive. If the housekeeping and dining experience had been good for us, this would been an ideal place to spend your holidays.

Housekeeping was not good. Frequent powercuts,no shampoo,no showercap. Front desk staff needs to be more polite to customers.

The Checkin was a big mess. We were taken to four rooms all were in bad shape. There was some renovation going on so it was very noisy. The walls were damp and the carpet were also damp. Room wasn't clean and could feel that floor mat was no cleaned for ages. One good part was that we were allowed to stay for extra hours without additional charges as it was raining heavily. The food at restaurant was good.
