This is a pretty average hotel with small rooms. The beds and mattresses were not at all comfortable. There's a television provided in the room which does not work most of the time. The biggest shock is that the hotel checkout time is 9.00am unlike 12 which is followed in almost all the hotels. This makes things very rushed up in the morning. Location of the hotel is good. House keeping is acceptable in the sense that they try to maintain the cleanliness of the room. Hot Cold water is adequately supplied. All in all its not very comfortable for family but bachelors may find it OK in the budget range.

Stay was wonderful in this hotel. Room service food was good to taste. Room was spacious with all facilities. The staffs were co-operative and helpful.

It is situated in a clean quiet locality. Meals are not available at the hotel but they get it from nearby hotels if you ask for it. The hotel is clean and offers hot and cold running water. Overall, we enjoyed staying at the hotel. It is ideal for short trips.

This hotel does not deserve to be a star hotel. The rooms were very small with not even proper cable connection. There was no arrangement for foods. In fact they are ordering food from outside. Staff and service was pathetic. My experience was so bad that I had to change this hotel. I will never go back there again.

Room was simple non A/C room. Staffs were prompt and quick in their service. The room had a quiet and the street noise. The food was prepared well.

Went there with family on 21st Oct 16 evening. But on seeing the condition of room had left the very next morning. Broken geyser, burnt plug point in bathroom, non working old model TV, big cracking in bathroom wall and poor response from receptionist. It's a old fashioned lodge and not hotel. Certainly not for decent stay. I later found far better hotels nearby at lesser rates.

I stayed on 31 AUGUST 2016 for one night at a OYO Room in Hotel Venkateswara at 13 Prince Gulam Mohamad Road, Kolkata 700026. I had to stay at this hotel due to my son`s interview at a private company of south kolkata. I booked in advance a Triple occupancy OYO room with Rs.1710 in this hotel by OYO Rooms mobile application with my Android phone.The Room is well furnished with marble and tiles . There were some complimentary services like AC , wifi, geyser, breakfast.I had a charming experience staying in this OYO Room.This hotel is very near to Bigbazzar Rashbehari Avenue.The staff of the hotel are also good-behaved.I shall suggest traveller to stay at such OYO Rooms to enjoy a taste of staying at OYO Rooms.

Booked it through OYO rooms, Oyo has become smart now they don't put hotel view from outside images as travellers will never shortlist this property. Imagine room telephone not working, no elevators, so for ordering anything you need to climb up and down. It was a bad experience, they need to do some pest control as well, too many cockroaches. Although the bed and toilets were clean so was able to survive for 2 days. The only good thing about this hotel is Lord Venkatesh idol placed at the entrance. Oyo pls start taking your customers seriously.

Today i meet one of my office staff here at venkateswra for a few hours. Overall experience of the hotel is very good. Room service was very quickly and efficiently organize. The restaurant in the lobby of the hotel. The teast of the fooods they served is unique and unbeatable. In Lakegardens its a business budget hotels.

Not a good place to stay. Mosquitoes, noisy fans and dirt smell of the blankets - can't let you a sound sleep. Location is not convenient. However, the staffs are good and friendly. To my satisfaction, the bathroom was clean up to the level.
