The hotel had a beautiful ambience. The room in which we had put up had a very scenic view from the window. The service should have been better. Over all a good hotel to put up at Kottayam.

Room was very spacious and clean, there was a tea/coffee maker but it was not that good. Location was great. Food was average to taste. Over all the hotel needs to improve. Service and staff was quick and perfect.

Rooms were OK - food was average - the airconditioning in the room was roaring like a helicopter around 3 a.m in the night- this sound was low when we checked in - but increased to such a level that we switched it off for some time - again started around 3:30 - no reduction in sound level - immediate reaction was to call the housekeeping and get this rectified - but slept off since it was such an inconvenient time to call the technicians. Felt very let down since I was to stay only for one night and that one-nights sleep was ruined - despite me paying much more than my last years stay at the same place

After booking twice through Bookings.com and both times being cancelled due to events at the hotel, we decided to contact the hotel directly to make a booking. Booking directly was simple and quick - payment was made directly at the hotel. We chose this hotel as we were attending a function based at the hotel. Check in was simple and quick. The reception team were very friendly and attentive. Free Wifi which is always great and it was relatively fast. The reception area always had a damp smell. The rooms itself needs a desperate upgrade. Aircon worked well and was a welcome relief from the heat outside. The bed linen was torn and stained - the towels were all stained badly. The bathroom was mouldy and untidy. The water was luke warm but after a call to reception, it was sorted. This could be a great hotel if proper attention was given to the rooms and linen.

i booked the room at the hotel on 14th December and made the payment through tripadvisor... now today suddenly i get the information from the hotel that my room has been cancelled as no rooms are available.. now at the last moment how can the hotel refuse a room when i booked in advance.. this type of service is not accepted from a hotel like yours... my suggestion to all the tourists... please do not make any reservation as they can cancel the room anytime they like... my reservation no is 276699776 Yash Jaipuria

The behavior of the chief chef was far below average of a local tea shop vendor.We had a party for 750 on Jan 2nd and after the party the attitude shown by the chief chef was disgusting. The language he used was nasty, his body language was worse than a third class rowdy.......Better to avoid this place because of the rude behavior of the senior staff.

Nothing Remarkable. The place is somewhat quaint and reminds one of the first hotels to come up after the tourism boom. The location is also nothing special. If you have a car, it's quite easily reachable. Most places of attraction are withing 20 km. The staff was quite friendly and the whole stay was quite hassle free.
