Abab Harmonia is located at Chowara beach (not on the beach but 400m walk) which is about 15-20 kms from the main beaches at Kovalam (lighthouse, hawah etc.). The resort is a small one with about 25-30 rooms & cottages but has a very good pool & spa. It is a good place for relaxation. It's got a vibrant & cool look since the pool is right in the centre. You'd find people sunbathing in noon time. If you want to be right at the beachfront then look for other options. But I liked the resort for its neat & clean look. Abad's service is good & they maintain high standards. The restaurant guy kept calling us all the time to eat dinner & breakfast on time but food was okay.Overall it was a good place if you want a silent & calm stay away from the hustle-bustle.

The quality of room was of average and was not looking like a superior grade. Services at the hotel was good but needs improvement as far as information is concerned. Food items were good and appreciated. Hotel and its surrounding were clean. Recommended only if hotel improves its room facilities and promptness in service.

It is located at a five minutes walk from the beach and is both beautifully built and beautifully landscaped.The rooms are large and face the pool.The food is good and the spread adequate. What lets it down is the maintenance. A feel of neglect seems to pervade it.The wooden doors to the bathroom seemed to not have been polished in ages, the door closer did not work and hung loose and ,mattresses were stacked in the corridor leading to the room when we checked in. Of the two rooms we took the tv worked in only one and the wifi in neither. When the taps were turned on the water that came out was scalding hot - from the lever turned either side!!! There was no cold water at all!! These were rectified in time and the staff was helpful but the feeling of discomfort die to the snafus did not go.If the maintenance is better the place would be superb.

My partner and I have just returned from a fantastic relaxing stay at the Abad Harmonia Kovalam. We booked 2 cottages from 24th Dec, 2016 to 3rd Jan 2017. The place is very relaxing and will suit people who want to chill out and relax. It has a big well maintained pool in very nice green grounds. Our experience of the food and staff was great in both respects. The food was really excellent and we found the staff to be very helpful, having a great sense of humour. This is a good hotel for people who wish to relax in midst of nature. The surrounding is quiet and covered with palm trees. You can choose between thatched mixed single huts and the main hotel with usual business class rooms. As I booked through tour operator, I am not sure about the price per day. The property is far from Kovalam beach. This was quite a set-back for us when we arrived as I was with my family. We were primarily visiting for the purpose of Kovalam beach which is about 13 km (45 minutes) from hotel. Still, if you wish to relax for sometime and are not considering to move to beach and town yet, you can relax in the swimming pool (my daughter did that and was happy for sometime). The food is NOT good. It was tasteless breakfast which was served. The looks at the faces of people serving us breakfast were quite unfriendly (unlike the ones in Munnar hotel C7). Overall, average value for money.

Very nice room with excellent view. Near to beach. Pros: Rooms are very nice and big. Excellent staff Nice room service. Good food with reasonable priced Cons Access to resort is bit tricky No activities for kids except pool, which is nicely maintained. Very limited veg options.

The Resort is ideally located just five minutes walking to the beach making it accessible for as many times as one would like to visit. The Resort also has the Ayurvedic Centre offering the massages for the tourists. Since we visited during the Christmas time the programme hosted for the Guests was the Fusion Music performance that had made our stay memorable. Very hospitable staff
