I had to book this hotel as a last option due to a goof up by Agoda(actual booked hotel wasn't confirmed). I was sceptical about this hotel since I had read the reviews initially which were mostly negative about this place on trip advisor. This is a relatively new property and is a 5 minute walk to the lighthouse beach. Room was very clean and had a big balcony. No hot water issues in bathroom. Service was also very warm. I enjoyed the breakfast spread which was quite delicious and had good no of options. The swimming pool is also pretty nice and well maintained. Overall an immensely satisfying experience for the money I paid.

I went on honeymoon here. I felt 1) Hotel is in isolated place and in same rate you can find other Beach side hotels. 2) Only limited dinner with limited items are served and the taste made me so nervous. 3) Only 1 item chhole Puri served in breakfast, when we asked for at least dosa..they refused us by saying that we cannot make these for 2 persons. 4) Staff is totally unprofessional and arrogant... When they came to know @ our complaints, nobody bothered to at least ask us for our problems... I strongly recommend you to avoid this hotel if you don't want to spoil your holidays....

Visited the resort in March 2016 during my Kerala vacation. please avoid this hotel during Off season or rather any time of the year. They were grossly understaffed when we visited (off season time). there were actually only 4 people running the entire resort! Obviously service was going to suffer and was actually the poorest among the 6 hotels we stayed at during our Kerala trip. wifi works only in the lobby area. the approach road to the resort at night is pitch dark. the resort is slightly in the interior. The beach is a 15 minute walk from the resort. actually calling it a resort is a misnomer - would be more appropriate to call it a B&B. the night we stayed, we had dinner near the beach and were walking back to the resort- there was a stretch of road that was pitch black, it was really scary. the room alloted to us was the only saving grace. It was huge -a sort of suite. 2 big rooms - one with 2 doors to the foyer - it had a sofa and center table and an ac as well. this was where i slept at night - in the folding bed they gave me. the bedroom was also spacious and had a tv, ac, mini fridge and wardrobe. the attached bathroom was small. had a small shower enclosure and tiny washbasin and wc. hardly any toiletries were provided. both rooms were connected to a huge balcony that had sofas and a table to lounge in. there was hardly any view from the balcony but it was huge and airy! No complaints with regards to the room. the complimentary breakfast served in the resort restaurant - on the top floor of the main building - was poor. we were served only bread (was cold and hard), butter and omlette and tea or coffee. Even the so called juice that they served us was tang mixed with water. there was just 1 staff managing the restaurant. after dinner when we came back to the resort and wanted to ask about the checkout to the reception staff -we were surprised to see no one at the front desk! they had actually left it unattended and we waited for 15 minutes for someone to come back. i guess not more than 2-3 other families were staying here. it could be a much better place to stay if the management paid more attention

I stayed here for three nights at the beginning of July 2016. I was the only guest so it was not a typical stay. It has wonderful views and the rooms are a generous size and all with a balcony. Top rooms have a view across Kovalam to the sea. I was on the 4th floor and there was three more floors above this. If you have a walking disability don't go any higher than this! The lift goes to the 4th floor. The pool did not look clean and the was no shade on the poolside as all the parasols were broken. It picks up a nice breeze the higher you go. The laundry service was good but the breakfast was a continental and dull. There are plenty of restaurants on Lighthouse beach. It is less than 10 mins to Hawa Beach and the restaurants. It is best to have a torch if you walk back at night, power cuts are frequent, or take a tuktuk. The Ayurvedic place was closed during low season but plenty of massage places are still open. Try and use one which has a doctor (BAMS).

Unfriendly staff swimming pool out of order Staff don't speak English. Very dirty rooms and all place. Not recommended at all. Stay away if want to have nice holiday Hotel was nice many years ago but not anymore
