i had booked the hotel for 2 days but I cud stay only for a day. the breakfast served was pathetic, poor hygienic conditions and bad service. not recommended at all for anyone who is going with friends or family.

I dont know why we thought it was a good place... the rooms are big, but the things are not in a good state. The bathroom was dirty, the AC was not working in some of the rooms (We stayed with friends). Lights are low... the energy of the place is weird. The attention for breakfast was not so good. People is expecting you to ask for the things. they are not in the service mode. As things were not going well, we decided to move away, and the manager did not refund any of the money, even though we were not using the place, not even a percentage. he was very kind to show me some places around the first day, but when we started feeling uncomfortable he didnt respond very well. And we decided to move out and no one helped us to take our bags or anything. Bad experience.

The location is good close to the lighthouse beach. Manager was helpful and friendly. Room was reasonably clean but the cleaning staff did not clean the rooms during my stay of three days. There was no hot water facility and attached toilet was pretty basic. I was charged extra INR 1000 per day on arrival. This was not reflected in the booking site.

by Rakesh C on May 11, 2015 goofed up in my booking of another hotel in kovalam and offered me this hotel as an alternative. The reviews looked good and hence I accepted the alternative reservation ... what a big mistake I did. I arrived at this hotel and found that you have to walk for about 50 meters in a very narrow passage (< 1 meter wide) to reach its entrance. They don't have any car parking facility and suggested us to have car parking in some other private facility far from the hotel. I was travelling with family (2 kids and parents-in-law) and got concerned when I inspected the hotel room. This property was completely empty ... looked like a bhoot bangala (ghost house). The door made a scary sound when opened. It looked like no one was staying here for months. I could see a dead cockroach and lot of ants in the room. The trees has covered the view of the beach so paying extra for those rooms was not worth. I could see the faces of my family and kids ... asking me just one question... is this the hotel you have booked for us? I asked care taker about why there are no other guests and he replied saying 3 guests has left this morning and currently they don't have any other guests. I asked about breakfast that was included in the package and they said that maid will come next morning to cook the breakfast. For dinner we can order anything and they will bring it to us from nearby restaurants. I had booked 2 rooms and paid all the money in advance. Any thought to manage with this hotel has disappeared by this time even if I have to loose all the money. The care taker sensed our mood and tried to convince about the facility they have. I was not at all convinced with their facility and decided to search other hotel. As we were about to leave, another person who claimed to be manager of the facility came and tried to convince us to stay. He said that they do have other guests who has gone to Kanyakumari on a day visit and will be arriving in the evening. This statement was contrary to what we have heard from the first care taker. This sealed our decision to move out. The manager was concerned about his money and once he realized that we have paid all the money in advance his attitude changed completely. I could hear him saying to his care taker that let them (us) leave... we have got the money. My advise to the people reading this review... avoid this hotel at any cost. Don't go by other positive reviews which is misleading people like me... just look at poor reviews and response by the manager. You can understand his attitude. If they were so serious about their service they could have offered to return the money once we refused to stay there. But this hotel is looking into the money only and doesn't care about anything else.

Clean and well maintained room with a sea view balcony. Delicious complimentory breakfast. Very friendly staff with excellent service. Rooftop restaurant had a great view of sea. Very tasty food. Buffet dinner is cheap. Like to be there on next new year.

Demo Trip Nice room, nice balcony, some worries with the water pressure and hot water is not always the appointment. Lack of hook to put the mosquito nets. It is necessary that the hotel organizes rooms with mosquito nets, for he who does not know can have sacred surprises.
