New Kovalam Beach Hotel

my partner and I had a lovely time at the new Kovalam beach hotel. we prefer the location that is not right on the beach.. its a minute walk from the beach and a little bit quieter. Its still located in the centre right next to all the restaurants but a bit more private. The staff were very nice. The room was clean. It's a very nice budget hotel.

Very very bad experience we had at this hotel. We stayed at this hotel last week. Service was very poor. only 2 people were there in staff. We had to carry luggage by our own. We have asked for breakfast at 8am as we need to checkout by 8:30 am and they provided at 9:15 and it was like freeze cold. From Air conditioner there was water fall and we were not able to use it.No hot water in bathroom

The atmosphere of the hotel is really very good. Very calm and quite. It is very near to beach (10 Meter distance). Rooms are very good. I have spend my honeymoon trip with this hotel room no.107 and it's unforgettable experience. Staff are very pleasant and they are very helpful. I hardly recommend to some one who need the good experience in Kovalam, don't think more, just book this hotel and go.....

First of all,the location is too interior and there's no parking space for vehicles. You got to park at the porch further down where in you have to pay for the parking too. Secondly, the staff were not at all friendly. Not welcoming at all, no help what so ever. The rooms had no water bottles and no glasses. The AC rooms are an utter waste here. Water keeps dripping from the AC into the cupboards. I didn't realize this until I took my very expensive handbag and found in completely drenched in water from inside the cupboard. On top of that, the AC has no cooling what so ever. You can't play music very loud so I would suggest youngsters who go to enjoy and have fun not to go there. The only good part was the pool but then again the timings suck. Rupees 2500 for a room with shifty AC, no water nor glasses and plus no TV.

My wife and I stayed here for twelve nights and enjoyed our time at this hotel, after spending the first night in the wrong room we were changed to the pool view which we had booked the next morning. The rest of the time was very good, breakfast was nice (eggs, toast, jam, pot of tea and freshly squeezed orange juice) the pool was clean and refreshing, the rooms cleaned upon request and any services we needed were immediately dealt with. We would definitely return to this hotel in the future.
