Cheaters! Cheaters!

My husband and I were travelling from chandigarh to kullu and we read good reviews about this hotel on trip advisor so thought to book it for the night. Since it was showing not available on most of the travel websites, we called up the hotel to check for their availability. They confirmed that rooms are available and told us it would cost Rs 1083 post tax and that they are reserving a higher category room for us since they are mostly empty. Once we reached we were told that it would cost us Rs. 1316 which includes a Rs 200/person bfast which entitled us to call for anything from the bfast menu till 200 per person. We called for bfast according. Later during billing they clearly said that nothing was included in the room rent and charged us for the bfast separately. Even one of the staff agreed that complementary bfast was told to us but the manager didn't agree. So effectively we paid Rs. 1716 for something we were told it wud cost only Rs. 1083! It is not about 600 700 bucks but the way these government run places cheats people. I am definitely going to do my best to complain about the management of this hotel to hptdc so that they are not able to cheat anyone in future. As far as the room is concerned it was big, neat and tidy. Staff otherwise was good. Service is fast. Good view from the room.

This is a very good place, for staying. Rooms are very big and are providing heaters etc. I visited there on 6th of January 2017, it snowed there in the night. When we woke up in the morning everything was looking white. Food is very good.

This hotel is typical government run hotel that you find across India - meets and never exceeds expectations. Pros: 1) The staff is quite courteous and helpful. 2) The rooms and bathrooms are reasonably clean. 3) The Tariff is very reasonable. 4) The food is very good and is served on time (but we did go in the low season) 5) It is Manali that is exploding with hotels. Kullu has limited options and this one probably is the best in town. 6) You can book rooms on-line. Cons: 1) It is difficult to get to. If you don't have a transport, it is a 10-15 min walk down to the taxi stand.

very nice place to stay in jammu for budget traveller. good for peace lover and those who wants to click photographs. Enough parking space is there. In first go hotel will sometimes gives the ancient look. early morning view is awesome. Food is available in hotel , room service also available. We overall liked the stay.

The hotel is nice.If possible take east facing room at first floor and enjoy warm sun in winter's morning.Resaturent is in premises with good quality vegeterian and non vegeterian food.Ample parking is there.Ramlila ground is just next to hotel.Value for money.Neat & clean with friendly staff.
