Hotel people should depute somebody to guide the things about the place to the tourists & taste of the food to be taken care. Otherwise it was good enjoyment and great experience.
The hotel has a swimming pool. From the room you can see the view of waterfall, very beautiful, the rooms are tidy and clean. Staff are very prompt in their service and their behavior was friendly. At breakfast we had idli, vada and sambhar and at lunch/d inner we had North Indian food.inner we had North Indian food.
A wonderful experience with this hotel.
Staff were very nice and courteous in their work. Rooms were clean and the room service was quick. I had my food in the hotel restaurant the food was average they should improve the food quality.
The bed was not at all good and I got neck pain due to the soft natured bed and pillow. The dining options were pathetic.

The staff is extremely courteous and warm; they ensure guests are well attended to and are comfortable during their stay. The property itself is beautiful with lush green lawns ending into the backwaters. The watch tower is an additional attraction; you can just wait here endlessly to watch the sunset and capture some amazing photos. Our room was overlooking the lawns; it was quite spacious with a balcony where you could sit comfortably sipping your morning cup of tea while the eyes feasted on the surrounding natural beauty. Food was good as well. All in all, just perfect!!
The location is very good. You can spend hours sitting in the large beautiful lawn facing the Vembanad lake. Food is amazing. Rooms are spacious and relaxing. The staff are very cordial at front office, restaurant and room service. A wonderful place to stay in this budget.
My family and I were here for a day and we had a great time. The road to the resort was good, and easily reachable. Staff was courteous, rooms and bathroom clean. The pool was simply awesome - it was well maintained and had a beautiful view of Vembanad lake with houseboats streaming across now and then. Lunch was amazing - biryani and especially the fish curry with rice were to die for. There were some activities like Table tennis and carroms. There was a boat ride in the evening during sun set and this was great too. Overall a lovely stay!
The pros: - Well maintained property. - Courteous staff - Great room service - Good included amenities (table-tennis, bicycles, sunset cruise, fishing rod, swimming pool) - Great location - Great selection for breakfast buffet. Really good. The cons: - We were in room 108. The bathroom was really old and dirty. There was no way I was going to fill the bathtub and enjoy as it was really dirty. So we stuck to just using the shower. I would expect cleaner bathrooms for the price I paid (with tax around 19K/night). - On its website, the hotel advertises common hammocks near the waterfront. However, when we reached there weren't any. So I asked the front desk and they said that the hammocks were there only for photography advertising purposes and the actual hammocks are available only in a few rooms. I think it is unethical to advertise something and not provide it. People like me imagine relaxing on hammocks near the waterfront and thereby book this hotel. It was a huge disappointment. - I wanted to use the jetski with my son but was told that all are under maintenance. Again, a huge disappointment. So we watched the waterfront and envied the other dads from other resorts jetski with their kids. Shouldn't they provide jetskis in December last week when many people would be on vacation? What a bad time to choose to maintain the jetskis?? - The spa may have been good but we didn't try it out. The reason? We were so put off by our dirty bathroom that we didn't want to find out if the spa bathroom was dirty or not. So they lost that business from us. I would like to conclude that overall we had a good experience with the evening cruise and the breakfast buffets and the evening cultural programs. They can make things better.
Ripples is a beautiful resort-style property located on the shores of Vembanad Lake, the main lagoon of the Backwaters. Kids and adults will both enjoy the large swimming pool with amazing sunset views. The hotel offers a large variety of rooms from the fairly bland "premium patio rooms" to luxurious "honeymoon villas". The hotel offers its own backwater cruises and is merely a few miles away from the Kumarakom jetty. Only downside we experienced was with slow service at the restaurant and while checking out.
