Located just adjacent to the Jetty house and easily approachable. Backwaters are very close by. The ambiance and the garden were good. A bit lag in maintenance. Recommended for all sort of travelers. Overall good experience.

Nice place, the estate area is not too huge. However rooms are spacious, good food options, Helpful staff and a beautiful temple adjacent, only apart by a canal which occasionally has boats floating past. Very close to the backwaters as well. Spent a night there with my family, had booked 3 rooms. Woke up in the morning with pleasant music from the temple. Enjoyed a good, heavy, kerala-themed breakfast in the morning followed by a houseboat ride. The hotel can assist you with booking a local vendor.

Hi, Giving a 3 star here just because of the huge rooms they are offering at a deal. Was surprised to see the property that was being offered when i saw it for the first time. The place is huge, has lot of rooms separated by gardens(atleast how they call it). We roamed the entire day and returned to find out that the window doors to the balcony were stuck. Had to call room service to first get them opened and then again closing them. They do not have a resto of their own. So you will essentially have to place a food order at 8 max.And when you try to place them a order, you have to know their local dialect bcos english and hindi is far known by the guys working here. We tried for about 15 mins to place an order but in vain. Finally had to walk about 2 kms in complete darkness to reach the nearest resto for some decent food. Give this hotel a skip or leave kumarakoam with frustration rather than memories.

Beautiful looking hotel but very unhelpful desk staff. Almost no English spoken. Asked for laundry service - none. Advice re how to get to bird sanctuary - very reluctant to help. Tv never worked. Meals there are bought in from local restaurants - we ate at Paddy a kilometer up the road And saw Tharavadu staff there to collect meals for residents. Paddy restaurant is pretty rough looking but great food.
