Good value for money.
Location was good. Awesome place to enjoy ur holidays!
I stayed here for three nights, they provided me the best of service. Cottage room type was clean but it was tiny, if not all well.
We stayed in Family Cottage for a nights and our experience was wonderful. It is a clean resort but service needs to be improved.

An outstanding property and a must stay resort if you are in Kerala. The architecture gives you a feel of Kerala all the time. The rooms are well planned, spacious and comfortable. Bathroom has an open air shower. All very well maintained. As we stayed in the Meandering Pool Villas so the access to swimming pool was right from the sit out of the room. This feature, I dont think is available in many resorts. The restaurant, gardens, other common areas were very well maintained. The food options available in the restaurant are nice. The buffet spread is lavish. The taste is good. Many activities like fishing, evening cruise, pottery, matt making etc are available to keep you busy. All staff members are courteous and treat you well. Special mention of Mr. Kavi.. catch hold of him if you want good photos to be clicked. He really knows the art very well. If i happen to visit Kumarkom again.. KLR would be on my bucket list definitely.
We stayed on a houseboat for one night and then at the resort for another night. Houseboat Larger than expected and the 2 of us had the entire boat to ourselves The staff of 3 crew members were friendly, accommodating and hospitable The bedroom was lovely, well appointed and comfortable The food was delicious and very plentiful. The sauteed whole fish was delicious and I just had to ask for the recipe. It was an incredibly relaxing experience In the sweltering heat, with the boat moving, it was very comfortable to sit outside The wooden deck chairs were very uncomfortable and since we were going to be sitting on them all day, I wish they had more padding We did not travel very far. The staff tied up the boat at lunchtime and it got very warm and stuffy when the boat was not moving. Then before sunset, the staff tied the boat up again and this time we did not move all night. Sadly we were in a spot where we totally missed sunset. We thought we were going to be traveling down remote, narrow canals where we would be able to witness the comings and goings of village life. This was not so. We traveled down very wide waterways, rarely seeing any people and the most we saw were other houseboats. We were led to believe we would be having breakfast on the boat, but were disappointed when that was not so. We returned to the resort before 9:30 AM, only to have breakfast there. Resort - Breakfast was very good. After traveling through India for one month, we had the best dosa here. Funny how for your egg selection, we got to choose: chicken, quail or duck eggs. The spa was good but not great. My husband and I found the spa tables very uncomfortable, especially when we were on our stomachs since there was no hole in the spa pillow and it was difficult to breath. Even though we left the houseboat at 9:30 AM, our room was not ready until after 1:00 PM. Our lakefront suite was anything but. The lake was in the distance and only visible from the front door which was disappointing. The bedroom in the resort was an exact duplicate of the one on the houseboat. The outdoor bathroom was large and the private pool a lot larger than expected. But sadly I was not able to take advantage of this or any other resort facilities because I was stricken with a severe case of food poisoning. I spoke to the staff at the front desk about my illness because I wanted to let them know what I had eaten so they could take whatever necessary precautions needed to be done. They were helpful and concerned, even offering to take me to the hospital and bringing me packets of re-hydration powder to add to my bottled water, but they were not interested in what I had eaten. It was a sad way to end our journey though India.
We had the great fortune to spend two days in this wonderful location. Our Heritage Pool Villa was charming, loved the privacy of our own pool, and the whole resort was beautifully kept, gardens and lawns, delightful restaurants and smiling, friendly staff. We ate in both restaurants and the food was excellent. If you love soup, try the rasam, just sensational and very subtly spiced, I need the recipe! We plan a return visit and have great memories of our first one. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so special.
Boat house food was very good, it is worth the price. Back waters tour and the scenery is nice. We stayed for 2 nights and was celebrating our parents marriage anniversary, the restaurant surprised us by giving us a cake and complimentary dishes.
Staying at another resort decided to explore neighbouring resort . Not being a guest, they just allowed us in for lunch or high tea . Had a choice either sea food restaurant or a regular one . Asked to be seated near where the view of garden and the lake . Besides food and service, the view was one of best one we had seen .it compensated for long trip there . Front desk gave us a brief tour , property is just beautiful.
