An open letter to Mr. Gunjan Paliwal of Kumbhal palace Hotel in Kumbhalgarh. I was suppose to go to the hotel on 31st Oct16 but for the delay by Air India I had to go on 1st Nov.16. From Delhi I called the number you gave me & found another person on the other side & told him the delay. I was looking for you, because from day one I was communicating with you. You are the one who first wrote, saying that my booking was not confirm; reason being the price is much higher and if I would match the 5000 or more then you will have confirmation. Hope you remembered that. I had to pay that amount to get the beautiful room of the hotel for 2 nights. I had booked back in June for 31st & 1st Nov. It was five months back I booked to make sure everything goes right. And yet because of my delay you make money out of my room! You take money from me and when you learnt the delay, sold that room to others for even higher price hope that I might not show-up. What kind of a man does this. When I arrived the hotel, was looking for you & had learn you never been there. The person at the desk was surprised to see me & did not know what to do. The room I got was nasty. ...there was no day light, forget about sun light that you talked about gleefully. Only one window & that was by the side of a staircase where people go up & down all the time, disturbing the peace & privacy. Dirty bed sheet & pillow cover in the bed that makes smell. In the bathroom, the basin tap was broken. When you tried to open, it goes on one side and water falls in the floor. Is this the room cost me over Rs. 5000, that I had booked 5 month back? I have all the pictures with me. I was wondering how come a person wrote many gloomy stuff to the people pertaining to the hotel but never been there; and conducting the business remotely and takes no responsibilities whatsoever. I spoke to Mr. Dinesh Mali of Hotel Sai in Mt. Abu and he greeted me when I had reached there; same things happened in the case of Mrs Sonia Soni of Poonam Haveli, or Sema Nanda of Divine Ganga Cottage in Rishikesh. A bit of advice to you...conduct your client where you stationed and let the other person to deal with other client of the other properties. What you have done is not a good business practice. We (two families) stayed for one night at Kumbhal Palace. The hotel is very close to the fort. The rooms were simple & clean, equipped with adequate amenities. The staff were very cordial & hospitality was excellent. The best part of our stay was the food. We had two meals & a breakfast. The food was prepared fresh & was very delicious.

We had a reservation for 2N stay in this hotel in the last week of August. Though we checked in late around 8.30pm in the night,to our surprise staff were waiting for us and the check in was fast and smooth. we were asked to choose the room from two large rooms on the first floor. The room was big with Ac and TV and bathroom and toilet was clean with hot water. we ordered room service for dinner and the food was pretty good. But we had only VEG as options and it was OK with us. Staff were friendly and I have to mention Mr. Dushyant who was very friendly and answered to all our queries. This place is very near to the fort entrance just about 1-1.5 Kms. There is parking space for cars also. we had a good breakfast in the morning which was in the price included along with room. i would like to stay again here if in Kumbhalgarh just for the friendly staff and good rooms.

overall a nice place to live in. An amazing overview around the hotel, every staff was very pleasant, friendly and helpful in nature. Zarukhos are the best way to increase the popularity of the room which shows the culture of the Kumbhalgarh. All the basic facilities are available which makes my journey very comfortable and the best. If we talk about food so the best place to have Rajasthani food. All over a great experience to live in a great place.
