Stayed here while I was in Leh (Januray 2016) for the Chadar Trek. It was one of the few establishments open during the dead of winters when the options are really scarce. Speaking about the hotel it has one of the best views that Leh has to offer. Right from our room we were able to witness the majesty & grandeur of the Himalayan range on one side to the sacred Chortens of the Shanti Stupa on the other. Rooms were pretty decent & thankfully centrally heated. The staff & management were quite courteous catering to our needs even when outside temperatures was below freezing. The owner in particular being a humble person left no stone unturned to make our stay a memorable one right from arranging transport for our day trips to ensuring that the gates of the property were kept open till all of us were accounted for even when it was already past midnight. Of course!! Highlights of the trip were our furry friends, a Tibetan mastiff pup & German Shepard, quite a source of amusement & entertainment for us. Would definitely recommend this!! Juleh to my Ladhaki friends, Cheers!!
