Location : good. Rooms : average Service : good Food : good Room amenities : limited Parking : ample Rates : overrated Comfort : average. Overall : an average hotel with limited facilities,mobile network is always disturbed or lacking. But the front desk and staff are very helpful and courteous.

Best part of this hotel is the courtyard on the first level. One can relax and play some card games etc., Rooms are practical and decent. Room size is good. Has TV and place to keep luggage. Curtains are little old but ok. Bathroom is old type with shower curtain which means when you take baath water spills all over the floor. Buffet meal, breakfast is decent. Mostly north indian cuisine. They serve non-vegetarian food too. Staff is friendly.

i am a frequent traveller and stayed in Hotels of all hues , but the meaning of GUEST was discovered by me only at HOTEL SHangrila. i am in paucity of words to describe the hospitality of this place . apart from the ethnic decor what impresses you the most is the concern of each staff to ensure that the guests are in least discomfort, and the stay remains memorable. the hotel has a group of well trained professionals whose friendly approach makes things enjoyable. good food, super- clean rooms and the icing on the cake is the beautiful view of the mountains . considering the facility , you cannot complain about the tariff. a word of thanks to our friend Khalil who drove us around. Raj, the friendliest manager i have come across introduced Khalil to us as our chauffeur for the duration of our stay, turned out to be a wonderful human -being . Humanity can still be found up in that corner tucked up in the mountains.all is not lost. lawrence richard- Gurgaon

we had a great time at this quite property a little far from the main market. The breakfast was nice and the staff was courteous enough to serve us dinner in our room. we got a free upgrade to the new wing of super deluxe room only one of our two rooms were getting wifi signals.

This hotel is located in the center of Leh. The staff were very friendly and always up for service. They even helped us lending their laptop for transferring our photos from dslr to hard drive. The food is very good. Both the Breakfast and Dinner Buffet were awesome.
