Royal Heritage Resort Leh

I had a wonderful stay at the Royal Heritage Resort of Leh. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Leh. So the rooms are nice, tidy and warm. The food is great and everyday it's different. The solar water heater is no good. The free WiFi the hotel provides is not accessible from the rooms, and is quite unstable. Service was good. The manager is pretty responsive. Has a nice lobby and a great view.

Location is close to the Leh main market and easily accessible. The hotel staff are not much customer centric they do not care for their guests. Rooms are clean and value for money. Lunch was good though breakfast was average. You may like their paratas. Weather is cold and you do not get the hot water in rooms and as usual the staff are least bothered. They will say 10 minutes and it goes for hour's.

Hotel staff are but lazy because for a tv connection they took 2 days to register . They were not as cooperative as one should be . Dinning hall is good and accommodates 50 plus people . They are mainly into bike trips and accommodation for those bikers who opt to start their journey from Leh. Hot water availability is from 6-8am only . Meals have their rigid timings to be maintained.

In a place like leh you can't depend on weather and sun to heat the water. There needs to be a backup but the hotel manager was lethargic and said that weather is bad so you won't get hot water to bath. We had to accept it coz there is no other go. Provided that we are staying with a package, they charged us for tea when it was included in the package the other day. After everything that the management did, they were courageous to ask for a feedback.
