This hotel was part of our trip and we stayed there for 3 days, in Summer . Its good mid budget hotel (definitely not luxurious hotel).Everything was in its place, hot water,room service for tea etc was good. Small problem lies with kitchen, so if you have planned and ordered beforehand its good.. but if you want food on the go will have to wait for too long . the buffet food might finishes for late eaters !! At 10 in night we had to wait another hour to have dinner.overall it was a good stay.

Pros: 1. Good location. Near to market on fort road. Lies in a small bylane, easily locatable. 2. Polite and helpful staff and workers. Served us well in peak winters. (January) 3.Clean Rooms. 4. Owner has a very cute and active Golden Retriever 5. Owner/Manager (Robin) is polite and chilled out. Cons (Please keep in mind these are mainly for winters when most are the things are not in favour of humans) 1. Heating facility needs major overhaul. The central heating is not sufficient. 2. The bed linens and Quilts need to be changed since the fabric of those does not get warm. They need to be replaced with mink blankets and heavy woolen bed sheets. This is even more important since the room construction is not wooden so rooms are not warm itself. 3. Little overpriced. 4. DishTV needs to be looked upon. It was not working properly on any of the 3 days we were there. Maybe due to cold/snow.

It is a very good place to stay in Leh, Ladakh. The rooms are spacious, clean and very tastefully done. The manager and the staffs are very courteous and helpful. The food is excellent although a bit expensive but then its Leh where everything is a bit expensive due to the costs involved in transporting stuff there. There is space for parking a few cars too. And if you require any assistance for anything ( legal ofcourse) the manager is more than happy to help. Plus his golden retriever is such a loving and gentle being who greets every guest with such enthusiasm.

We visited last week of December 2016, it lacks basic winter amenities... 1.Firstly there was no heater and heating at all despite agreement.. 2. There was a big centralize heating machine which management said it was working but we received less than zero percent of heating out of it.. The temperature at night was -17 degree, so we suffered really a lot. 3.There was no water(not even cold water) from night to next morning till 9:30 A.M... we had to run to the reception and request many times to get half bucket of hot water... 4. Sometimes t.v was not working and we had to call and get it fixed many times... This hotel simply cheats regarding whatever it says with respect to heating... please don't get into there trap in winter...

The stay was very comfortable & happy. I spent my birthday here :) that too solo. It was quite rejuvenating n chillaxing. The food not forget was very yum. The room was well equipped and construed for extreme cold weather I suppose. Very neat and tidy. ;)
