Everything was perfect about or stay. The hotel was simply superb. Location in and around was awesome. Rooms were very good. We found them extremely spacious. Service was upto the mark. The only thing they need to change is they should include All Meals and the games should also be included in the booking so that the kids can avail this facility. In all a very nice stay and highle recommendable.

It was a nightmare. My stay was only for a night and during my stay I had to change my rooms thrice. The first room has around 5000 ants, the second room had snails. The management was not at all friendly. Not recommended. My trip was ruined.

My stay was good. I liked the hotel. Rooms wer nice and the service was good. Will surely recommend this hotel. The only things they need to improve is about the food. They hardly have any options for food.

Aamby valley city is an beautiful township built by Sahara India at Lonavala. The Spanish Cottage rooms although form the lowest and cheapest category of rooms/accomodation available at Aamby Valley but the room in itself is nothing short of luxury. The room almost had all the amenities one normally has at home - Big Flat screen LCD, Iron and Iron-board, mini-fridge, nice clean and big bathroom attached with all the necessaties placed neatly. Complimentary internet-wifi service for 1 hour. Service is also excellent with Chauffeur driven Mercedes at your doorstep. Besides Aamby valley in itself is an amazing experience amidst nature and excellent township planning. It has lot of water sports and adventure activities other than Gymnasium and swimming pool facilities. Highly recommended for those looking to have a luxurious, expensive but worth and enjoyful outing/stay.

We were here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and stayed for 2 nights. It is great place to spend couple of days relaxing between natures away from city chaos. Rooms: They have 4 categories of rooms; we chose Spanish cottage as it was the only one available. We liked the room as it was specious and clean. Food: They have many restaurants inside city. 1. Woodpecker: Breakfast is served here. Its multi cuisine restaurant. We only had breakfast here. We didnt try any food other than that here. 2. Namak: It is an Indian cuisine restaurant. We had dinner here on 1st night here. Food was excellent so was the service. They serve you welcome drink and breadsticks with different chutneys as a starter as complimentary. I found menu to be very limited but whatever they offered was delicious. 3. Manuhaar: It is basically Rajdhani kind of restaurant which serves only thali. We had lunch our lunch here on 2nd day. Food is again excellent. 4. Mabruk: It is their best restaurant as I had read in reviews but unfortunately it was closed for renovation when we visited Aamby valley. 5. MIA: It is Pizza at your door step service. They dont have dine in place. You have to order it to your room. We tried their veg Bianca thin crust and found it to be ok, not that great. Hotel Service: You are treated as VIP guest here. They provide you complimentary internal transfer in their marc or innova car and it is just a call away; you never have to wait for more than 5 min for it. Be it at reception or restaurants or in room, everyone will be at your service and ready to help you. Attractions: 1. Fountain: It is best part of Aamby valley and never to be missed if you are in Aamby. Show starts at 7.30 in evening and runs for around 15 min. It is just opposite woodpecker restaurant. 2. Water sports: I found it to be quite expensive wrt duration of rides. 3. 19 degree north: This is adventure Sports Park outside Aamby valley city. If you staying in Aamby valley then entry is free or else they charge you Rs.250/ adult just to enter their park. 4. Lagoon: They have so called wave pool and artificial beach. Wave pool is chargeable at Rs. 650 / person for just 10 min of waves and beach is nonexistent. They have clearly forgotten to maintain this so called lagoon. 5. Swimming pool: They have 2 swimming pools one at woodpecker restaurant and another at mini club. One at woodpecker is in good condition but one at miniclub lacks maintenance. We didnt do much of activities here as we wanted to rest for couple of days. Pros: 1. Location 2. Luxurious 3. Service 4. Food quality 5. Quite place if you want some quality time with your partner. Cons: 1. Everything is chargeable inside city which I found big minus point considering the amount they charge for night. 2. Maintaining property is big issue here. Many attractions are poorly or not maintained at all. 3. Restaurants are expensive. Once you are inside city you dont have any option other than to eat at this restaurants and they have limited and expensive menu. Overall I would suggest it is one time visit place only to rest.

Excellent Wedding Venue but....... Excellent Wedding Venue but.......

by SKY0807 on February 19, 2017

This huge area is akin to a township. You need a vehicle to transport you from point to point. Breathtaking view, perfect temperature and the entire area has well manicured gardens. Its a resort. I was there for a wedding so my review should be on 2 fronts - the wedding and the accommodation. The wedding itself had such a diverse venue for the various events. A fun beach front party with jet ski, speed boats and even a wave pool. A perfect lake side pavilion with a beautiful view of the lake - such a romantic setting. I would rate the wedding venues as 6 stars - hands down. Having experience that - I want to get married there again!!! The venue was great and I am not sure if the wedding planners were part of the AAmby Valley organisation - but it was excellent. Next is the accommodation. Our host put us up at the Swiss cottages. Rooms were all suites with - plenty of space and even a huge balcony. You get cable TV, big washroom and a nice shower cubicle and all that a 5* hotel would provide. However I must caution that this is a mass wedding venue and a big hotel. So don't expect 5* cleanliness. A bit dusty here and there and the sockets were falling apart. You need a buggy to get you to the rooms - so that too could be a bother as some of the buggies were small vans which is quite old and dirty. Other minus was that the floor creeks very loudly when you walk - so you can hear the people upstairs walking. This is a Swiss cottage after all and that is the way they are built. Finally - beware that they do not allow you to bring any alcohol in. All bags are scanned at the arrival gate and they will keep all bottles. PS : the drive is a good 2.5rs from Mumbai. Highway for about 2 hours and 30 minutes of small winding road up.
