Beautiful property..lovely decor...courteous and helpful staff...nice restaurants...though the adventure park was a bit overrated..the resort was breathtakingly beautiful with the weather complementing it.would love to revisit the property
Around Mumbai and Pune if you are looking for some thrill..this is the place to go to.. It's awesome and has soo many activities to keep you occupied from morning till night. The day pass gives you access to 90% of the rides and a few more dangerous ones are only the paid ones. There is something for everyone.. If you want xtreme adventure, moderate one or just wanna eat and drink and spend some time playing indoor games with frnds..its all in there. The restaurants are good and service is awesome.. Try the Parsi cafe.. Staff is very courteous.. I suggest go on a weekday if you are not the type who wants too much ruah..then you will be able to cover all the rides.. The Dog walk, pony ride and many types of shooting and archery are also great!
Arriving at this location is easy to navigate, and once we entered we were mesmerized by the awesome property that Della is!! So since we arrived early, even that was taken care of by the duty manager and staff, which was truly a pleasure for us... My husband and I had booked the Camp Della Adventure, and that is really excellent, with a breathtaking view of the mountains... I had requested for few arrangements to be made as a surprise to my husband, and that was duly taken care of courteously by the staff.
We faced some issues in the beautiful camp della room, and had to notify the housekeeping staff, and immediate measures were taken for same. The on duty manager, Ms Anusha, is very professional and polite in terms of hospitality at Della, she ensured our stay is the most memorable experience there... Even the travel incharge here, Mr. Swapnil Mankar, a very polite and sweet person ensured we have a very comfortable stay.
We had food at Parsi Dhaba, and that was really delicious!! Definitely recommend to try food there...
1 thing I did not like, was the overpriced water bottle which we purchased from the Della inhouse chikki and fudge bar, which is near the Parsi Dhaba. The himalaya water bottle is priced at Rs. 60, and here they charged us Rs. 125 for same!! That's really over pricing for a bottle and totally not done... Della Management should look into this.
Apart from that, our stay at Della was a really sorted and a nice one, staff delivered the best they offer, and with a smile :)
Della is quiet overpriced for the rooms and luxury they offer, I suggest management do look into the pricing and reduce the costs quite a bit.
But otherwise Recommended totally!!
I had visited Della with a friend and it was amazing. The service was impeccable. The food was really good in terms of pricing and portion size. The drinks were well made and the ambiance was beautiful. Will definitely come back
Visited this 5 resorts & adventure park & stayed here for 2 days with family. It was such an amazing experience & is a fabulous scenic place, the concept of which is the brainchild of Mr.Jimmy Mistry. A sprawling 46 acres of place having 167 rooms & about 30 tent-rooms located a little away from the market area& madding crowd. It has good restaurants & a splendid spa to rejuvenate yourself. It also has an adventure park for all to recreate your inner madness. Budget wise it could pinch an average pocket but overall worth your money spent.
