I have never seen worst people like Travel Guru. Despite your confirmation to me in written; my booking for 31st December 2011 wasn�t there at Sai Moreswar Resort. The rude management point blank rejected my 31st booking and said that such non availability has been reported to Travel Guru � Ms. Siddhi Rane immediately the day after you booked �in written�. Now that we don�t have anywhere to go took the cell no. of Ms. Siddhi Rane. And the explanation I got for over a months advance booking is that the Airtel network was busy. Hahahahahahaha. What a joke. Whole month there was a network jam� Hour of inconvenience, distress, discomfort with my little kid who travelled such a long distance:- Siddhi did give me an alternative at the same rate but it had no match to Sai Moreswar�s facilities and rating. Therefore the alternating we chose was Avion Resort. Siddhi told me Rs. 5,000/- extra but I ended paying Rs. 6,000/- on a CP plan (only breakfast). That is not all, the gala dinner we spoke to Siddhi Rane @ 2000/- the hotel manager never made our table and we again had to fight for the same. The worst New Year ever had and all kudos and thanks to Travel Guru and its team. Who�s Airtel network is jam packed for more than a month. Mind you my capabilities initially prompted me to put this matter in all leading publication/media and my blogs would have reached to 10,000 people every week. What is the compensation for such irresponsibility from Ms. Siddhi Rane�s part? Regards, Gyandip 9167391121

We stayed here for one day. The resort is not properly maintained. Except complimentary breakfast nothing was impressed about this hotel . Staff was not even bothered to rectify the tv problem which we reported.Poor response overall by staff .

- Cheap enough compared to others there. - We reached around 7 pm, the pool was closed by thenthe water dirty. we were assured, it would be better by next morning, but again, wasnt much better really. - They had a private party with music at 11 am at night,drunken guys moving around in corridors making noise. - Not the best situation for a family to be in. - - The foodroom service was surprisingly good. Just one restaurant, with indianchinese options. - Towels were shabbyunusable. had to get my bedcover changed because it wasnt clean enough. Just a hotel with a tiny gardena small pool - named a resort - no vast space really. .

Stayed for 2days for my conference at lagoona resort.centrally located with accessible by walking.no noisy rooms even near mainroad,good food,clean rooms.good for its price.breakfast so so.easy to wonder local places by our own with walking.

Well we didn't stay there. Thank God for that. But my first impression on entering was - "unkept resort". We wanted to visit their restaurant so when we went inside we got to see the swimming pool side which was all dirty and unkept. The restaurant manager wore a crushed shirt and was in a hurry. He even asked us to order very quick and hence not giving us even minimum time to think over our order. The only thing good was the tea served. Else,I regret having spent my money there.

with bath tub. I was with my 4 years old daughter along with my wife. Same was mentioned while confirming the booking from Goibibo. As it was raining cats and dogs we reached the hotel by 12:15 PM. There wasn't any watchman or security guard to guide for parking the car or to carry the luggage to reception. As this hotel/resort doesn't have stilt parking.. In heavy rains we had to carry our luggage and reach to the reception. The middle aged semi bald guy with spects at the deserted reception was dressed professionally and seemed quite familiar with hotel industry. Post checkin formalities he alloted us the room on 2nd floor. By the time I asked him to call someone to carry luggage to the room. A bell boy named Anwar came and was given keys of the room. I saw him climbing the stairs instead of using the lift... I was forced to asked him, whether the lift is working. He said NO... Then I moved back to reception... And asked the same bald person that why lift is not functioning and are there any chances of it to be functioned before we checkout? He replied... It's not working since two days and it won't work till you check out as the faulty part of the lift is not available in lonavala and has to be purchased/brought from Mumbai. (Any other guest who visited the place do comment on lift). I didn't argue much as I understood that it's a lame excuse by him to save electricity. As there were a very few guests. However as he denied the lift facility.. I requested him to arrange a room on the first floor as the idea was to have a leisure weekend. He politely denied my request for the room at first floor by saying that we have limited AC Deluxe rooms with bath tub and the room on first floor is occupied. Hence I was left with no options but to agree for 2nd floor room. We all climbed to 2nd floor and Anwar opened the room. It was filled with humid smell and we understood that the room wasn't opened since at least a month or mebbe more. Bedsheets, pillows were neat and clean however they too smelt humid. Then I checked the bathroom, wash basin, commode and bath tub. Commode seemed to be cleaned. Bathtub was ok. I observed there wasn't any towel on towel holder and no napkin in napkin holder. No bubble bath for bathtub!! I asked bell boy Anwar that there ain't any towel, napkin and bubble bath. He replied dikhta nahi hai kya Towel bed pe rakha hai and napkin and bubble bath baad main milega. I said you are not supposed to behave like this. Room should have been ready by the checkin time. He again argued... Room ready hi hai. Then I lost my patience and went to the reception even after being tired by driving in heavy rains. At reception I told the same bald guy (Pravin) about bell boys behavior and the humid smell in room and other issues. Also I showed him my previous Goibibo review about another resort (Revenir holidays) in lonavala booked from Goibibo in Jan 2016. As he was professional and understood what kind of guest he is dealing with, He said I will arrange a room for you on first floor!! I was thinking that suddenly how come the room is available on 1st floor? So I told him that I want the room for which I have paid for... That is Super Deluxe AC room with bath tub. He said it's the same room as per your booking!! I was very much happy and told him that first let me have a look at the room then you shift the luggage. I checked the room. There wasn't any humid smell. For soap, shampoo, towels, bubble bath and all Anwar said that it will be provided later. So I asked to shift the luggage and called my wife and daughter to the new room. Within ten minutes bell boy Anwar delivered two soaps, two clinic plus Shampoo pouch of 1 Rs each (refer the pics), towels and napkin. I asked about floor/foot met. He said he will bring it. He brought torn and sticking foot met(do check pic). However as it was raining cats n dogs we decided to adjust in the room without much fuss. Within a few minutes, my wife observed something really shocking and it was like a CCTV kind of device covered in tissue paper (do refer pics). I immediately called reception and inquired about it. Housekeeping guy came and said it's a point for bulb but lot of guests mistook it for CCTV so they have covered it. However I wasn't convinced so asked him to remove the tissue paper from it. He called Anwar and asked him to remove the tissue paper in which it was wrapped. After checking the bulb point, I also felt that it may be a CCTV cause till now I have not seen such bulb holder (Do refer pic of uncovered bulb point). So I asked him to cover it again. He tried to convince me by saying sir itna common looking CCTV koi rakhega kya hotel main? However I was stubborn and asked him to get it covered, he did it reluctantly. By the time I was really shocked as I paid almost equivalent or more rent to any 3 to 4 star accommodation in any of the Metro cities. Nevertheless my daughter was quite excited about the swimming pool and the garden area. So I decided to take her to swimming pool and garden area. There wasn't anyone to mop the floor. And the entrance area to pool n garden area's floor was completely wet we had to remove our sleepers. By the time my wife joined us and as we all were hungry for food so I asked her to check the menu at reception and order the food. As the climate was good I thought of having a few drinks. However as I was aware that this resort doesn't have a bar facility, I drove to market area and brought a few drinks. I came back within half n hour and by then the food was ready. Asked the receptionist to get the food served in our room. We ordered 2 masala papad, one Paneer butter madala and butter chapati(fulka). Food was outstanding. Especially the paneer sabji and butter chapati. Five starts for the taste and quality. On the other hand when I signed the bill... I was bit surprised to check butter chapati prices (forty per chapati into 8 chapatis). But it was ok. After having food, we thought to watch tv for a while. There were a few news channels (none English), a few children channels, no sony tv, no life ok, no colors channel And a few hindi and English movie channels. BTW TV was of 24 inches thick LED (refer pics). AC was a split unit in the room and the unit looked like a very much new but the remote was very old aged and not from the brand mentioned on the unit. As the climate was very cool we didn't use it. Post lunch my daughter wanted to use bathtub. So I filled it with luke-warm water and put bubble bath in it. She enjoyed it almost for half an hour. Then when she came out I removed the cap of bathtub to get the water drained out. Within few minutes the water started flowing out from bathroom to the room. So I called up the reception (as they don't have housekeeping extension). Someone came and cleaned it. Then we decided to go out. But the rain didn't want us to... So we planned to try resorts indoor games. As per the experience we had I was quite sure it will be another setback. But to our surprise pool table was in well shape, there were three carrom boards and a table tennis arrangement. I asked for pool balls, and the guy at the reception provided it along with cue stick (there were 2 solid balls missing though) we were happy. We played pool for a while then TT followed by carrom. And my daughter enjoyed swimming pool in such a cold weather. Also they have two small tortoise kept in a small dirty area near by swimming pool. (They also have very small 5 tortoise in an aquarium near to reception area besides jhula) Post indoor games we settled in our room and ordered our evening snacks i.e 2 masala papads, cheese grilled sandwich, hara bhara kabab and veg spring roll. Food again was yummy except the veg cheese grilled sandwich which was complete disappointment. Post evening snacks my daughter wanted to have Domino's cheese burst pizza. So I called up Domino's and tried to order pizza at the resort. Alas!! Domino's people didn't know the location or resort and asked for near by landmark. I told Domino's that I will call you back. Then I called up the reception and asked about the nearby landmark and whether can I order from Domino's? The guy politely replied in positive. But said Domino's doesn't deliver here. We ordered dinner from kitchen and by the time it gets delivered I thought of having a bath in bath tub. So filled it up with warm water and enjoyed bath for fifteen minutes. As the dinner was served, I came out of bath tub and opened the stopper to get the tub emptied. After around 10 minutes my wife observed that the water was flowing in the room from bathroom and the floor met was completely wet. I went in flooded bathroom and understood that drainage wasn't working. By the time we all completely lost interest in dinner. I Called the reception again. A house keeping lady came and took half n hour to get it cleaned and requested us not to use bath tub!! Post which we were completely exhausted and planned to call it a day and sleep for the night. As our booking was for 2+1 (child) and the bed was small I called reception and asked for an extra mattress and mosquito repellent liquidator. The guy at the reception was changed and he spoke to someone and asked the other person yeah wohi customer hai... Usko extra mattress ka rate bata doon? (I was hearing his conversation on the intercom phone) And then he picked up the call and said extra mattress ka 800 rs lagega. I straight away denied for it. He said we don't have mosquito repellent liquidator but machine with mosquito repellent met. I said ok send it. Then I visited the reception and asked him that why are you charging for extra mattress as the room is booked for 2 adults and a child. He replied "kidhar LIKHELA hai tere booking voucher main?" I immediately left the reception after listening to his bhai kind of language and then from room I called up GOIBIBO customer care. After one hour of waiting and 7 calls dialed to Goibibo customer care, finally someone picked up the call and was ready to speak to the reception guy. However Goibibo couldn't help. Finally we adjusted in small double bed and spent the horrific night. Complementary breakfast was having very limited spread of Idli-sambhar-chutney, egg burji, veg sandwich (with only tomatoes n cucumber as stuffing), corn flex (this was surprise), bread butter( no jam) and tea/coffee. Taste was average except for egg bhurji... Post breakfast we checked out post checkout formalities. They did accept the credit card and provided printed bill. In short it was the worst stay in my life. Stay away.
