Location : Very good location. Right on the old Mumbai Pune highway. However the odd thing is that you have to pay toll for getting into Lonavla and back everytime. So you will need to restrict your visit to Lonavala just once a day. Be careful not to leave behind your cellphone at a restaurant in Lonavala. Service is prompt. Food quality is adequate. Nothing to rave about or complain about. Since it is vegetarian only, non-vegetarians have to look at other place for their non-veg needs. On the first day the staff wanted to close down the lunch buffet at 2 pm even though the timings are till 3pm. The reason being a lack of guests !! Well atleast the guests that have turned up should be served !! Strange reasoning... Rooms : To match the tariff, the property needs remodeling. the construction seems quite old and the noise from the nearby rooms could be clearly heard. The TV set was old too... Other facilities : The swimming pool is excellent. The games room was a disappointment as they usually are at such resorts --- A charge of 50/- for one game of pool - Atleast one expects a well maintained table - not a table with tears in several places ! The TT, carrom and other games were alright... The layout of the resort is nice. Good landscaping. Overall -slightly disappointing. Considering that it was a premium room - expected better rooms and better food quality as well as better gaming room facilities.
Standard rooms are horrible, I wonder how economy rooms must be. They sting all the time and poor quality of mattress, bed sheets,pillows are used.Rooms are not even painted well. Then we upgraded to Executive rooms which were better but bed sheets and pillows were stinging all the time. There was a sense of insecurity in the room which ruined by holiday.
