Nice place to stay. Rooms are clean and in perfect condition. Hundred percent recommended. Good service. Very clean room and bathroom. Especially very comfortable, soft bed.

Staffs were helpful and polite. The meal was fabulous in the restaurant. My room was clean and neat with all the facilities. The stay was quite comfortable in this hotel.

Please do not attempt to stay here unless you are familiar to the Govt hospitality and corruption. They took more than an hour to allot the room, and we were there four hours after check in time. One of the rooms was stinking badly and they finally changed the room to a lower category room at midnight after a nasty follow up. Location is superb, and thats the only advantage of this hotel.

The location is very good. The food quality is also good but little bit costlier. The maintenance is poor. The rooms and bathrooms are big in size but clean. The only problem is lack of staff. MOHANA GHOSAL, KOLKATA.

We had very good stay in this hotel. It needs some more maintenance. Rooms and bathrooms are good. The hotel has lack of staff, it is the only problem. The food quality the restaurant is very good. We stayed for two days, without any problem. PARTHA GHOSAL, KOLKATA.

We stayed at this hotel from Jan 18th to 20th,2016. Despite the great location of this hotel and also being a property of U.P. Tourism, the rooms are,as I said in the title, very poorly maintained. We had booked the A.C. Executive room, which is supposed to have basic amenities and well maintained and decorated room, but sadly we were surprised to see the deplorable condition. the geyser did not work, so we had to change the room, the condition of the other room was no better, with a T.V. set old and obsolete! Anyway, the staffs, on the other hand were very efficient and helpful. Food quality was so-so and price pretty high, better try the authentic Awadhi food in the nearby mall, it was excellent. Overall, the great city with its historical past made our stay pretty memorable.

The most positive thing about this hotel is its nice location with a lot of tourist attraction at a walking distance. But this hotel badly needs maintenance, as the rooms and other facilities (sometimes even the flush of the toilet) are in the most pathetic shape possible. Above all, the hotel staff, despite of their most sincere effort to make the guests feel at ease, must do a herculean job to clean the hotel. The rooms, are very very dirty, and you can find anything and everything in the room (including used condoms and sanitary pads). What is even worse is that, the local guests, who rent the hotel for marriage parties, etc do not seem to quite care about it.

This was my first visit to Lucknow as tourist. Renovation work is going on and the upper three floors are already renovated. Rooms are quite big and nicely made. It is near Shara Mall and Hazratganj one of the best place of Lucknow is just 10 minutes walking from hotel. UP tourism bus for sight seeing starts from hotel but generally it is full so you have to make advance booking on line for sight seeing. For shopping of Lucknow dress you must visit Janpath Market and particularly M/s P Kholi & Co shop No. 29/B Janpath Market having very good collection and the owner is through Gentleman which is near Hazratganj.
