when we reached the hotel after 12 hours drive seeing the first entrance we felt like its a wrong choice, but the main gate gives a good feel and clean environment feel the check in was smooth as we had paid in advance, but the rooms were not as per expectations and very old, the bed we discovered was of solid concrete and the bedding on it, which give you a back pain, the service is slow, and many times no one answers at reception of room service, the names i had read in the previous reviews were no where near the mark of being service oriented or polite, Mr Aniket was good , solved problems and was on point contact, others didnt seem to care, Mr vijay of Room service was apt in service, but it took them 2 days to give a extra pillow . no change of water in the room, in 4 days they could not give a extra glass, The food was ok MR MORE was more than happy to serve and if not for him we would have surely changed the hotel , first day gujrati thali is what they give in lunch , the food was spicy and oily, we complained and they did make changes , the food was good, digestable and not heavy that was the best part , night also it was good in the open space, only thing missing was some music and liveliness, this the only issue ithe hotel , we were given a special space and table to have our own booze, so that others dont get tempted and disturbed, but there was nothing special in the dry menu, over all good place, good people, old property , its huge actually but they have not designed it well as its a 1951 property but very close to market hardly 8 minutes walk , the artificial lake next door is actually a waste water collection plant right now, hopefully will be developed soon . it lacks the activity and liveliness, and didnt see anyone ( guest) mixing with anyone, as most people came to chill in , we had 2 rooms the view was good, but in spite of 3 days booking they didnt give us a upgrade,

this review is before the so called peak season that starts from 11th May, when its very crowded , so you can imagine in peak season
Our room was executive suit with pool view. Room was really nice! Hill view along with pool & balcony was a plus point for this type of rooms.
Hotel is located near market but still has quietness...! Its just 5 mins walk for market.
Pool, Steam, chilled pool, Jacuzzi, game zone - indoor games & outdoor games are available.
Breakfast was very good & varied! but lunch or dinner were disappointing. Buffet food was better than ordered food.
There are some problems with hotel, which are ignored by hotel management-
1. Hotel is under-staffed. So, we had to call thrice just to get the water.
2. Bed linen was not properly washed, some stains were there on all the linen, everyday
3. They have offered in-room-dine but they were reluctant to it
4. They don't have variety in beverages. They don't have all the food printed in menu. for many food items, they answered unavailability.
5. Owner of the hotel lives in the next building. Hotel was started in 1951, but still they have not developed or rectified it.
Hotel has all the positive points over other hotels but it needs much efforts & development
Recently I had been to this hotel (23-24th May). Property is good, location Is close to Market and staff is very humble. I forgot my Zahra headphone in activity area, but their staff maintainef it in their locker for two days and returned it to me in good condition.

Got rooms with linen that did not look like fresh or washed old fixtures .....water leaking through pipes.... Got damp towels ... Called in for room service got food for sick sister after 2 hrs
The hotel staff expected us to complain.
We were not a fussy lot hence just told them once to change our rooms... They said they were full and did not even bother to check with us what the problem was ... Proof that they were aware they were substandard rooms and that they were not bothered
Isn't that basic rules of hospitality
All in all a disappointing trip... inspite of booking 2 months in advance
