It's an amazing property, and has been perfectly designed. The location is excellent...right on the beach. The food is good...would give it 3.5 on a scale of 5. Choices are less, but that's fine because too much to choose from many a time becomes a task. Food for kids / babies is a problem...they do not have anything simple (except for breakfast) that can be given to small children. The room service and restaurant staff are very well-mannered and they actually want to serve the customers well. Just that the numbers are inadequate and they are not properly trained. They have a tendency to jumble orders...you ask for something and something else comes to your room / table, e.g. you ask for curd, and they get you curd rice; you ask for masala dosa, and they get you plain dosa. But they are quick to humbly accept and rectify the mistake. And I saw this happening on many tables with other guests, and not just us. So I guess a little formal training for them would do good to them, and will ensure happier guests. Would give 2.5 on a scale of 5 to the housekeeping staff, when it comes to room cleaning. They actually don't do a good job. Hovering crows at the restaurant are a big problem. They are all around the table waiting for you to leave the food unattended, even for a second. Once in a while, the security or one of the staff moves around with a stick to shoo away the crows. But this is not a permanent solution. I have been to other resorts in Mahabalipuram which have sea facing restaurants. They have put nets all around to ensure that there are no such intrusions. Blue Bay can easily put nets around the restaurant to get rid of the crow menace. Our stay was good. In fact we were booked for one day...we actually extended our stay by another day. My two year old daughter enjoyed a lot...especially at the beach and the pool.

One of the coolest places for Team Get-together. Brilliantly maintained beach offers space for outdoor games; a pool where we went on to refresh. A perfect day outing for corporates with their peers ! Food was okayish.

The waiter treatment to guest was like a hell, Not worth money with the location and service. Expensive with the drink and food. Ambiance was ok since we had a good climate during our visit. Would like to rate in -ve rating

Small narrow resort property, small swimming pool,untidy playing area.,less variety for buffet and not so tasty. Food cost is high. They should learn how to behave with customers as they are into hospitality business ! Beach was good and not crowded.

On 20th September we did a team outing for 80 people and I must say we had fun time. This is a resort with capacity to grow and team which can learn with proper feedbacks. Plus points: 1) Mr Rajeev @ Resort was very cooperative and friendly and he was taking care of us as and when needed. 2) Ms. Tina and Selvi, from corporate office was very accommodative. 3) The rooms are decent and spacious. A/c in working condition. A wonderful deck and bar area. 4) The arrangement done were to our satisfaction. 5) We spend almost the entire night on deck and beach and nobody intervened. 6) The campfire on the beach, and our light and music added to fun. It was a nice dance party. 7) Clean swimming pool. Few down sides, 1) You have to guide them with requirements at a very initial stage and followup. 2) The Starter freeflow, did not end as a free flow. 3) Cottages should be having 1 bottle of water per person (bottles as per occupancy)at time of checkin. Most of the rooms was missing this. 4) Lunch and Dinner was great. But few default items, sauce, butter, sugar, sugarfree, salt, pepper, etc was missing from the table. But as I said they would learn and grow, as they were adaptive and cooperative. Regards Janish
