Hotel Stay was good but the booking experience was a nightmare. i tried cancelling the booking 2 days in advance but both the hotel nor travelguru would refund the charges. while booking travelguru was very courteous but while cancellation they just dumped me so did the hotel. you could never reach the reservations through phone once they knew i was trying to cancel.

Cons: 1. For 3 mornings, i was eating the same breakfast. Barely any change in the menu. Long wait time on items to be replenished. They ran out of cold milk. 2. Paid for extra bedding at the time of booking. Extra bed was not ready at the time of checkin. Housekeeping then tried to arrange their Sofa-cum-bed (which was already broken). I asked it to be taken out of the room and instead a bedding be arranged. Next they came up with the mattress and put it on the floor which I asked to be picked up immediately. Next they brought in a cot which looked to me atleast 100 years old in a worn off condition. We just managed with that for the next three days. 3. One of the lunch I ordered in room dining, never sent the all the food items I ordered. 4. Biggest Blunder was with their in house hindi / english movie DVDs, guests can order and watch in their rooms. One of the DVD they provided had an XXX rated movie instead of the original hindi title I ordered. Its a shame, I had two kids with me during this holiday. Pros: 1. Resort - Amazing. 2. Room - Clean, not too big not too small. 3. Housekeeping - willing to help in their constraints. 4. Wharf - good. Waters Edge Cafe - Fine (Food could have been better. Buffet charges for 4 yr old kid as well??) Breakfast - good but monotonous 5. Inhouse games and other recreational facilities for kids. - Great!! 6. Easy access to beach which is great. 7. Staff: Polite & Courteous

Hotel location was perfect with wonderful surroundings. It is near to the beach. The room included amenities like refrigerator, TV and telephone. The bathroom had running hot/cold water. Only drawback is that the staff are not well trained. We ate the regular South Indian Veg food of idli-sambar.ular South Indian Veg food of idli-sambar.

Everything about this property is fabulous; the rooms, the longest pool in Asia, the smaller pools, the beach, the restaurants, food and a lot more. Extremely well maintained and tastefully decorated. They have great meeting rooms and facilities. Breakfast buffet is very good and elaborate. Staff is good and polite. Great place to be to relax with family.

Went here to stay with the family - 6 adults and 2 children. Unfortunately the room we opted to upgrade to was unable to be turned around quick enough due to previous guests leaving the premises in poor condition. After initial grumblings and complaints - we were promptly taken care of the staff. Vishnu and his team at front desk were fantastic and very understanding of our frustration and went through great lengths to take care of us. We stayed in a bay view 3bdr villa/suite ? Slightly further Way from the beach but fantastic property with built in pool. The Seaview villas are not bad either being right opposite the beach. One of the few negatives of this resort is the limited amount food and drinks at the poolside bar. But overall beautiful resort and would certainly go back there. We were taken care of after some initial stuff ups.

Superb property, Amazing experience. I didn't knew that I will enjoy so much. The idea behind the huge chess game in the courtyard was excellent. Very good location as it was right on the first tickling experience of fish pedicure. The buffet spread was lavishly spread. The staff were very helpful and attentive. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We stayed here in order to visit important archeological sites in the area. It is a very big hotel on the beach. We stayed in a Sea View Chalet. There was a big conference arriving on the same day as our arrival, and the staff had trouble getting rooms ready for check in, so we had quite a wait. When we finally got a room, it was not particularly clean, and there was a lot of mildew in the bathroom. Just after we checked in, there was an electrical short in our doorbell, which sparked and blew out the electricity, and made the room smell of smoke. Although maintenance arrived quickly and repaired it, it was rather unnerving. It wasn't until we went to bed that we realized that despite all of the noise it made, the air conditioner didn't work very well. Food in this hotel was poor. The restaurant by the beach was just ok, and the breakfast buffet was pathetic. The staff was trying hard, but the hotel seemed under-staffed and poorly maintained. It seems to be a convention hotel that is just thoroughly beaten up. It is definitely hard to maintain property near the ocean, and they are not keeping up. We have stayed in other Radisson Blu Hotels, and this one does not represent the brand. We were glad we only had to endure one night here. Can't recommend this place at all.

Definitely would visit this resort again. The rooms were beautiful and very large. The pool area went on forever, and the ocean at Bay of Bengal was walking distance from my room. Since I was on a tour, we were very busy visiting sites in the area, but I did spend some time having an Ayurvedic massage, which was impressive.
