Beautifully maintained and restored, with a wonderful rooftop restaurant where you can enjoy the night air over a delicious dinner. Staff are extremely courteous and friendly, and the desk arranged a very knowledgeable guide who took us on a terrific walking (and shopping, at OUR request) tour for several hours. Room was comfy, spacious, and atmospheric, and an excellent value, besides. This was my 18th visit to India, and I'd definitely stay here again when I tour Shekhawati more extensively.
A beautifully restored old haveli (rich merchant's house) with modern fitting that will make your stay most comfortable. My room on the lower level has to single bed behind it is a lounge area with another single bed & sofa. Great for us to put our luggages and stuff that we bought. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant thats above the reception. Service is good, breakfast and dinner is fine. Just a short walk outside the the local market and stalls are busy in the morning but close after sunset. If you can wake up early go up the stairs to the open air roof for sunrise. the roof top also double up as dinner place for hotter days.
Me and my spouse stayed in the Hotel just for one night when we were traveling the state of Rajasthan. We enjoyed too much in the Hotel and stayed as a maharaja and maharani. The rooms of the hotel are not numerically numbered. Instead of it the rooms were called as Nilesh, dwarakesh, Gopesh, Nagesh and so on. We stayed in the room called as Haresh. The room is neat and clean. But there are not TV in any room. The coffee and tea maker is also not in the room. One of the most benefit is that complimentary powerful WI-Fi is available everywhere in the Hotel. There is Garden Cafe on Ground Floor, Rasoi (Restaurant) on the first floor and Rooftop Restaurant where we can enjoy the enthralling beauty of Mandawa city. Services of every department are good. In Front Office desk we met Mr. Rakesh Sandolia , who became very helpful for us. He gave us different information about the Haveli as well as of the different havelis and places of the city Mandawa. We recommend to the visitors of Mandawa to stay in Hotel Mandawa Haveli for homely atmosphere and Rajasthani Cultured flavor.
Beautifully restored Haveli. Rooms are comfortable and very nicely decorated. Very unique experience of being able to stay in an authentic Haveli. Nice views of the city from the rooftop as well. Centrally located near the city gate. Service is good. Restaurant is ok. A+ for coolness.
Very, very nice haveli, with lots of original details, as estate agents would call them. Beautiful place, lots of things to admire and study such as the wall paintings. Restaurant is fine too. One warning though: it can get cold in the rooms in winter time. Our room had a central hall, a bedroom and a bathroom. At night we were very, very cold. The thin blanket did nothing to keep us warm, so in the end we put coats etc on our bed. Only the next morning we found out, that the central hall did not have a ceiling. So we had been sleeping, more or less, in the open really cold desert air!
