Visited the hotel as part of the silver wedding anniversary celebrations. Spacious, well maintained, personalized service was the hallmark of our experience. Room was spacious and well maintained. The space all around the property was indeed huge. The swimming pool was one of the larger ones. Food was great. Look forward to come back and have a longer stay.
The property is nice, Villas style in large area. However the rooms are not comfortable at all. Not properly equipped, the linen is not clean. Service is not good at all, was not provided extra towels. The staff was not well informed. Food is good, but not authentic Rajasthani.
The good points, I loved the gardens, swimming pool, spacious bedrooms which might lack some some amenities, but make up for in character.
The buffet was very average and the the breakfast just about acceptable. There was a problem getting hot water for a shower when a lot of people were using them.
Wonderful super good property.
Large and mentained lawn, 24 hour accessible swiming pool, gym, TT table, pool table.
THE tip of the pool cue stick was damaged and they had only one stick, so that can be improved.
I would say a perfect location to spend time away from city.
All the rooms are located on the ground floor, most of them has a garden view and a seating area outside every room
We were three couples with kids.
We initially wanted to book vivaana which is on the top of TripAdvisor's list, but i guess we made right choice choosing this hotel coz vivaana is firstly a haveli turned into a hotel, so it would've become clostrophobic for us. Also staff behaviour at vivaana is not good at all, a detailed review has also been posted on their review page.
I personally like open property with garden area to roam around, sit back and relax in pool and not to be confined within a small area /room.
We went there from 30sept to 02october 2017. 2 nights.. Full of fun.
Despite being overbooked due a corporate checkin, the service and staff was top notch.
Though innitially we were denied room service due to a private party organised for the corporates, i had to go down to the reception area for milk for my kid, but upon having a conversation with the hotel manager, he firstly apologised for not giving room service coz of the event, but later humbly allocated a staff specially for us for room service as we wanted to have dinner in our rooms only. He Even gave his mobile no in case we face any problems with our stay. That was i think good gesture on his part.
Theres nothing much to do in mandawa, so its always advisable to book a good propert to relax around.
The swimming pool was well mentained and the best part is you can dip in anytime you want. There are no particular timings for swimming pool as in case of many resorts.
breakfast spread was very good, comarable to good hotels in delhi with veriety of options and non repetitive menu for the next day.
We booked CP plan. Breakfast only and not lunch/dinner buffet MAP plan. So can't comment on buffet quality, as we ordered room service, which was good quality and hot.
Overall 5 on 5 stars for this property, much better than vivaana, the top rated hotel in mandawa. Anyday.
Arrived here fairly late, on an escorted tour. The rooms are large but very basic, and old fashioned. I would say this is more like a 2* hotel, than a 4*. We ate in the restaurant, as there was no where else to go, a few in our party had the buffet, but very limited choice. We ate from the main menu, but food was awful, my chicken wasn't cooked but tried to explain to staff, to no avail so gave up! We had a woman singing, and a musician playing, asking for money, whilst we were trying to eat.
We asked for more tea/coffee that took a while, then ran the gauntlet of mosquitos getting back to the room, there was a huge padlock on the door, so took a while to get in, no wi fi and large noisy air con system in room. The fan was practically dropping off the ceiling, and exposed wires and holes in the wall. I wouldn't return or recommend
