A long way to get there (from Delhi in our case, over 7 hours) and could do with a few more signposts, but once there very nice place. Room was large, clean and very well presented. We were late for the dinner buffet, but it was still going and very good. Breakfast also good.

Its a beautiful heritage hotel which has been very passionately converted from two haveli's which are more than 100 years old. When you go through the gallery on how the restoration has been done over the years you are left awestruck. The detailing and the pains the promoters would have gone through in achieving the same in a truly splendid effort It's like having a feel of living in the era the haveli's belonged. Very desirable place for night or two, the food is above average and the service is good. A must experience for the travel bug in you !

This hotel impressed from the outset with a warm welcome in a very beautiful old reception area. Our room was clean and beautifully furnished, the bathroom modern and well appointed. We treated ourselves to Ayurvedic massages at the Elephant House Spa and greatly enjoyed this. The price of the treatments was not expensive. The pool area and garden courtyard, where we enjoyed our dinner was gorgeous. Before dinner we explored the upstairs museum containing the history of the renovated and restored building and a story of the region and its people's. This was very well done by the owners. The staff was lovely, good service without being overbearing. The food was excellent. There was a very nice hotel shop and no pressure to purchase made it a nice change from other hotels. This Haveli was in a peaceful location, we were concerned as we drove through the local village that we may have placed ourselves too far from the town nearby but all fears were allayed on arrival.

When we arrived at the Hotel booked as part of a tour after traveling on a dirt road we wondered what sort of a place it was but going inside and seeing the building it is has high standard rooms in a fascinating building. Friendly staff, good facilities and dinner outside on the lawn was great. A small problem with the breakfast with a big bus group in the hotel some of the food was used quickly and not replaced but a minor concern.

A so lovely place in this old haveli. Very large and spacious room with additional bed ( we were in 101 and 108 ). Very large bathroom well furnished. Large swimming pool and very nice restaurant with adapted buffet for continental stomach. Last but not less lovely people ready to take care of you. We have done a nice promenade inside the village to meet the people and local kids with our 2 great daughters with a guy from the hotel. We fully recommend this adress ( only one thing to improve there is no fridge in the room) but you are on the old silk road...
