Rooms were lovely, cleaned on a daily basis, minibar, tea, coffee available...
The overall place with a lot of garden and green is very well maintained!
The cows and other animals were a nice attraction for our little boy, as well as the butterfly garden!
Food in the Restaurant is recommendable! We tried a few times outside, could not really find something comparable!
Breakfast offers a huge variety! Omelette, Eggs, Indian, Sweets, European!
You will find something for sure! Fresh Juice, which changes on a daily basis is really nice!
Staff is overall friendly, and always ready for recommendations!
We really enjoyed our Stay! The pool was a nice attraction for our boy, maybe an umbrella close to the kids pool would be nice!
The beach was clean and worth a sun-downer walk!
We recommended the place to our friends and family, would definitely come back!
This was the last place we stayed on our 2 week trip to India. On arrival we were a little worried it looked a bit tired and run down. Our little cottage although clean had a few things wrong with it , but the staff fixed things immediately. There are several cottages in pretty gardens with lots of plants and flowers. A clean and relaxing swimming pool. The restaurant has a great selection of food and everything was very tasty. When we asked if we could have a whole fish - the manager very happily arranged this for us at no extra charge. Although a 'dry' resort the staff were more than happy for us to provide our own alcohol. The beach on first glance is clean - however don't stray too far from the hotel as it is pretty dirty in between hotels! But it was interesting to walk along and see the locals and watch the fishermen taking their boats out. We were rather disappointed with the sea - as it was very murky and not really suitable for swimming - or if you do keep your mouth firmly shut!
We enjoyed our 3 days here - mainly due to the staff as they were really lovely and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. It was very chilled and not pretentious which was exactly what we wanted.
But if you are imagining crystal clear waters and white sand like the Caribbean, like us you may be a little disappointed!
We spent wonderful 5 days in the hotel. Amazing beach, helpful people, nice and clean cottages, relaxing gardens, animals, birds... and tuk-tuk can take you to the places hidden to turists. It was difficult to leave and we will come back for sure! Many thanks to the staff to make our holiday so special!
This lovely resort is set in lush countryside, spreads out across beautiful gardens and spills out onto the most cleanest beaches I have seen in India.
The room we were given was closest to the reception area, it was spacious, clean and had a nice bathroom. The biggest problem I had was the mattress, I woke up with a rather bad back ache in the morning.
The gardens and well maintained and offered plenty of running space for our 2 year old son. It would be nice if the open ponds were fenced off in someway, a little bit worrying when you have a young child running around.
The restaurant and pool area is nice although the restaurant can feel a bit cramped and busy. The food options are great and the dinner buffet offered a nice spread, although we chose to order a la carte. The restaurant manager was missing on both evenings we were there, this led to some confusion with our order.
All in all a nice place with great potential, a few tweaks and this could be a great little resort.
Went to Abad Turtle with my family in December. It's a very long drive from Cochi airport and the traffic makes the drive worse. The hotel is average and the rooms are very average. The beds were very average. The washrooms are big but can do with an upgrade. It's a large area but some areas are not maintained properly. Food is good. The people are also nice. But you tend to get bored after a day. You can go the the beach, and use the pool and walk in the vegetable gardens. It's a long way from Cochi town and traffic is bad.
