The scary Trumpet and the chilling night The scary Trumpet and the chilling night

by balagopalram on January 10, 2017

Hi I am Bala stayed during the last week of December with my family for 2 days. I truly advise those adventure seekers not to travel in jeep who have a bad back will get a nightmare if you decide to take a jeep travel to the resort in their jeeps (cars should be left in Singara Post as there is no drivable road to the resort) But after a bone shaking drive to the resort I had seen a wonderful place with lots of deers running all around the place. Luckily my mobiles are unusable as there I was not even getting signals for Airtel( Do carry Aircel, Vodafone Sim cards if you want to get in touch with your families and friends. This place was actually a must place to see. We are invited with a welcome drink and had been thoroughly briefed about the dos and donts which were actually helpful for a non adventure seeker like me. I am a foodie and I was truly worried about the food part but luckily I had actually blessed with a lot of mouth watering dishes or both the days.( Soup could have been better). They have a wounderful bunch of people to serve you and that was actually what to be appreciated. Special thanks to Mr. Shibu and his team. They had a night safari of 35 Minutes in the evening, had not seen much animals and was bit disappointed for the first day but luckily saw bisons and elephants on the second day. Truly recommended. Planning for a visit soon.

ABSOLUTE WILDERNESS........THE UNEXPECTED ABSOLUTE WILDERNESS........THE UNEXPECTED

R u an adventure seeker, then make sure that you dont miss this place. I was a regular visitor to too many jungle stays and resorts all around the India but this was one of the wonderful places in which I had experienced throughout with their gracious staffs and foods. (Never experienced this kind of a wonderful food in any of the wild stays I had experienced before. Many Thanks for the chef) I was a bit disappointed with the wildlife sightings there as the place seems dry and yellow due to less rain and climatic changes, but they have a beautiful manmade water body and the scenic mountain seen behind the lake is wonderful. Overall stay was excellent to us and it was a bit crowded as it was the new-year time. Surely going to visit again. Go for the Tree House if you are a couple, but if you need space go for a room on the ground. Many thanks for all the staff.

Average stay but staff good. Average stay but staff good.

Rooms are big sized. Clean. Bathrooms need maintenance. Food was tasty and spread too was good and menu was changed every day. The night safari is not worth it though sometimes you may get to see deer, nightjar or the giant squirrel. Staff are very helpful, courteous.

Feedback on my recent stay (30th and 31st Dec 2016). Feedback on my recent stay (30th and 31st Dec 2016).

Feedback on my recent stay (30th and 31st Dec 2016). Overall my experience was BAD as it is not similar to how it was earlier.I mean the place maintenance was not up to the mark (In bathroom taps were leaking, room main door was broken and making lot of noise while opening and closing). Even after informing nothing been actioned as they are saying they need to wait for carpenter to fix the issue (did not even come and see what I was trying to convey) One more disappointment was on the Safari/Nature walk..it is better to stop this service than taking guest for 15-20 mins inside the property where you will not see anythingit looks like some time pass they are doing just to showcase that they are doing some safari/Nature walk. To reach this place we need to travel for 250 KM from Bangalore and I would say its not at all worth for the money what we pay as it looks like management is not serious on the customer satisfaction. One good thing about this resort is Food as the spread was good with more options and all of us truly enjoyed!! Thanks Madhusudhan
