Great stay!! Great stay!!

by Sunaina2013 on February 18, 2017

I went to whispering windows for a weekend stay with friends and was very happy with the place and all arrangements.. The place is very centrally located to the forest and the main market. It has a beautiful farm and lots of greenery..The staff is very polite and they go out of their way to ensure you have a lovely holiday. The food was very very good. they have a buffet spread with a few veg and non veg options and really tasty home cooked food. We also had a bonfire, that was lovely.. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I only wish that cleanliness is given a little more imporatance, coz we felt some upholstery & table spreads etc could be alittle more clean All in all a great play. Highly Recommended.

We were a family of 25 who had visited the resort for the New Year celebrations on the eve. The ease in arrangements was commendable. There were not many hassles at the time of negotiations as terms were very clear. Rooms - were clean, spacious, and naturally well lit. Service - was polite, welcoming and they accommodated even the vegetarians with a good blend of veg dishes. Food - tasted very good and there were enough varieties offered over three different meals. Second servings were available to all of us. Facilities - they have a nice lounge space, garden area. But there could be more amenities for games and sports. It seems an ideal space for family outings, but for friends to visit, there would have to be more games and fun elements to be added. Overall they did an exemplary job handling such a big group with ease and grace. Very impressed and highly recommended for family outings.

FOOD WILL COST MORE THAN STAY!!! FOOD WILL COST MORE THAN STAY!!!

Booked this property via guesthouser. Later on realized it was available at cheaper rates on other portals, Pls note if u can contact these guys directly, they will offer better deal. Location, cleanliness were great. Mr Selva the incharge/caretaker of the place is very helpful and humble. Worst part is the food. If its not included in your plan - one need to shell out as below - 1.) Breakfast - Rs 250/- per head - and they serve IDLI, DOSA and OMELETTE. 2.) Lunch - Rs 300/- per head - all they serve is Biryani (it doesn't matter if its veg or non-veg) 3.) Dinner - Rs 350/- per head - again Biryani and some curry for those who prefer Roti So basically, you are screwed if meals are not included in your plan. What one can do (if they have there own vehicle) can check out a few places in proximity of 3-4 kms. Well Mr Selva wudnt be of any help in terms of food charges as he himself is manhandled by owner wife, and have to work as per whips and whims.

Right from booking to stay everything was smooth. Very nice and hospitable couple managing this place. I was impressed with their hospitality, received a warm welcome when we reached there. Owner even called us at his cottage to have a chit chat we clicked some pictures of their cottage and some with them. Rooms were clean and nice with all basic amenities. Food was tasty, home cooked and fresh. Place: Monsoon has added lot more of flavor to the place. Right from the garden chairs to the rooms, lot of efforts has been.

Let me start by saying that the location and resort is just awesome. Rooms are spacious, and so is the green surroundings. Just mesmerizing. However, problems are also there. Rooms are not well maintained. Also, food is bad. Yes it is pretty bad, and moreover it is overpriced. But there is no fixed price for food. It depends on caretaker 's mood what he will ask for. Also he won't give any bill for it. Looks like a mini scam. But view is good, and the resort has big space. It's like they own a mini jungle. You'll enjoy this part. Bonfire is also arranged, but for that group is needed.

Demo Trip Choose the room which is separately located, not the adjacent ones with reservation

Demo Trip Rooms above the restaurant are simple and compact. Even from the aeration point of view, it's better.

by brittodominic on September 12, 2015

Demo Trip Choose the block that is separate from the main building (100m) - the rooms have good sitting areas outside.
