The hotel wants the traveller to make payment in advance and the quality of service is nothing but outrageous. Here are the few nuggets.. (1) when asked for room heater, asked for extra payment. when protested strongly with the proprietor agreed to provide one. Does the guest request for a room heater in a cold place like Macleodganj? (2) The mineral bottle supplied to the room are charged @ Rs.50 a bottle. (3) The morning tea was also charged (4) The package includes breakfast but, has a limited choice of Parantha, bread toast and egg omlette. Anything beyond this charged. The quality of Paranthas is very bad and we didn't have breakfast on one of the two days that we stayed there. (5) The location is very bad and the hotel is not as shown in the photos. (6) the guy sitting in the front office does not know anything but, refers to his boss always. Advise anyone considering to book this hotel not to do so. Ah! forgot to mention. We have booked two rooms and paid the entire amount of Rs.10,000 for two days for two rooms via wire transfer. But, in the last minute the other couple has dropped out. The hotel management did not have courtesy to refund the amount and refused to do so.

Pathetic location of the hotel. no kitchen service was there, smelly and stinking rooms, untrained and unprofessional staff. No natural view from the hotel. Outside of the main market and places. Parking was risky.

This place is located between deodar woods with a view of dhauladhar range. Rooms are good with ample space and amenities. Staff is quite helpful when it comes to your requests. Very good place for a peaceful stay in nature's lap.

The list is too long for the horrible stay that we booked at Imperial 9.. To start with, we could not find the hotel's location for like n hour or so, being in the nearby area and even the hotel staff could not properly explain the location and finally they took reference of another hotel to navigate us through. So, then eventually we reached the hotel and were provided our room. When we entered the room, it was stinking as if it has not been cleaned for a long time. The bedsheets were all dirty and it seemed like the sheets and pillow covers have not been changed since the last stay. Furthermore, there were no toilet rolls or towels in the washroom and it was dirty too. The mirrors in the room and washroom were broken. There was a power cut as well and when asked we were told that it is normal. Also, when we tried ordering food, the menu had very limited options and their kitchen timing was unusual. Finally we got something to eat which was the worst food I have ever had in my life, it tasted like it had been kept for days before being served. The owner of the hotel was very rude and had a very negative attitude. So, overall it was a very disappointing trip. Lastly, a suggestion; this is not at all a right time to visit Mcleod ganj. Too much of traffic and crowd.

Would Request all my friends to share this Ans never ever make reservation to imperial 9 hotel in Mcleodganj I booked 3 rooms for 2 nights in a hotel called Imperial 9 in mcleodganj for my friends , when they were about to reach the hotel they called us and told 1 room is not available because of short circuit in that particular room so he can arrange 1 room in a near by hotel firstly we denied as we were 3 families togather so its not possible to book 2 rooms somewhere else and 1 somewhere else but later on we asked them to show that room that was a very small room and v untidy hotel so we decided not to take that room and we asked him to refund that amount . Firstly he said that he will inform MMT regarding this and will ensure that we get complete refund and thats too on time we booked another hotel thats expensive than this and later on when we called MMT for refund that hotel guy named Naman denied for the refund ... I request you to blacklist that property ASAP and not to give any further business to them . He also threatning me about this issue .
