This is not a satisfactory property. The room quality was pitiful, furniture was too old, there was no appeal to the room at all. The room service were decent though. Its a below average property.

The staff were nice in their service. Room was fine having all the facilities. The food was average in taste. Overall my stay was average in this hotel.

The hotel is just not worth the tariff it charged. It does not have any kitchen nor the rooms are any good.

We didn't enjoy my stay here as anticipated. The room we stayed in was clean but then the bed-sheets on the bed we not changed, I suffered a skin infection because of the same. The staff members were quite passive too, their service was unprofessional. And to our surprise there was no restaurant here. We are not satisfied.

It was an economical hotel so not much facilitated and room was not having balcony. Staff was not so efficient and service was ordinary. There was no food arrangement in the hotel but location was decent.

Hotel Shivalik is located in the heart of Mcleodanj just after the market and has excellent view of the valley if you're staying in any room on the 1st floor - this is since all rooms open up to a huge common terrace overseeing the valley and the market place. Perfect place to hang out and have a drink or food while enjoying the scenic beauty. Service is average and so is the food. Best rated 3 star per Indian standards so don't expect any frills - yes it does have warm water and cable TV but when in Mcleodganj TV is the last thing you'd want to be glued to. Cheap to stay in place and value for money.

Ricordo questo hotel come il peggiore che abbia mai visto in India. Lenzuola luride. Ho chiesto di cambiarle perche macchiate e il cameriere mi ha guardata come se fossi folle. Ho insistito e lui mi ha portato lenzuola ancora piu sporche. Sotto la tappezzeria c'erano animaletti di ogni genere. La vista pero e molto bella. Siamo arrivati la mattina presto con un autobus da Delhi. eravamo stanchi, dovevamo controllare
