heaven! so very sad to leave. heaven! so very sad to leave.

by Amrita K on January 20, 2017

This hotel is magical. I have stayed in many, many very high end luxury boutique hotels and this one wins. Adeel Ahmeds rich juxtaposition of fabrics, textures, and colors makes many of the 1000$/night hotels I have stayed in seem so basic and unoriginal . Rajmahal palace was the highlight of our stay in India and is a masterpiece in interior design. It is more beautiful than Rambhag palace and Jai Mahal palace. The staff was pleasant and made me feel as though nothing was too much trouble. Service was unparalleled. I instantly felt like a queen in my own private palace. I will fondly remember this hotel my whole life and will definitely return. Special thanks to Sid for everything. We were so very sad to leave.

A palace of indescribable beauty! A palace of indescribable beauty!

In the middle of Jaipur, this palace owned by the Jaipur royal family is now a hotel. With a rich history, it has only a few rooms available, we were lucky to get one. The interior decoration of the hotel is truly a work of art. Service is superb. The grounds are lovely. Excellent in every way.

A beautiful palace with an incredible history A beautiful palace with an incredible history

My husband and I stayed at all 4 Sujan properties in Rajasthan. Each of The Sujan properties provided impeccably attentive and personal service, and the Rajmahal Palace was no exception. The palace is beautifully and luxuriously decorated, you feel as though you have been transported into another time in history. Our room was luxurious and comfortable. Tea time starts at 4:30pm and it is just delightful to have it in the garden grounds. Please note that if you are venturing outside your hotel without your driver, specify to the hotel if you want a car service or a taxi. If you don't they order a car service, whose price will rival prices in North America (seriously!). Uber is not reliable in Jaipur we had a really hard time getting back to the hotel, its almost not worth leaving.

Nice try but it really isn't as slick as it should be Nice try but it really isn't as slick as it should be

Wonderful staff and manager running this hotel which is in a nice setting with large grounds although parallel to the main railway lines.... When we arrived we almost left immediately. It is an expensive hotel, recently renovated but our huge room had almost no storage space and absolutely no windows whatsoever - an internal space which is quite disgusting really. Having paid in advance, which is normal practice in India, we were trapped there & really pulled down in spirit on arrival having looked forward to returning to Jaipur again. We saw two other suites - neither had storage appropriate for two guests and external windows are in short supply in many of the rooms. The designer's reputation is promoted as being aspirational and all I want to do is compliment him on building the worst hotel of our trip. No sockets where you need them (nor modern ones you now expect in India), no light switches near the beds - in a new renovation that isn't luxury. Breakfasts and dinners were very good although with hardly any Indian food on offer in the evenings. I repeat that the staff were all very, very nice and professional, but brave to work in such a poorly-designed building. We spent all day, every day, away from the hotel in other parts of Jaipur.

Expensive but good Expensive but good

Other day my daughter and Grand Daughter were visiting us from Singapore and I took them to this lively property for lunch , The pink warmth of noon and lovely settings of Restaurents in covered verandah , adjoining sprawling lawns created a great setting. The food we ordered was superbly tasty and served very warm deserts were also eclectic . Over all a great place though expensive.

Demo Trip I think they just get more magnificent the more you pay. Even the smaller rooms are going to be 4 posters or have some unique magnificence.
