Overall, nice hotel. Enjoyed a visit to their pub Tavern ...chill out place!!
The hotel met my requirement as a business traveller with meetings scheduled in the City area. Rated as a good stay
Clean rooms. The service is quick, polite and efficient. The dining area is good, I ate chicken tandoori was very spicy, there were tears from my eyes.
Hotel proximity is close to the Gateway of India. There is lot of facilities in the hotel like health club, restaurant, coffee shop, swimming pool etc. Rooms are clean but the service needs to get efficient.

Strategically located near the Gate way of India. The Hotel has beautiful ambiance and well maintained rooms. The Ferry to Elephanta cave is located within the walking distance. The hotel provides good hospitality facilities and welcoming approach.
We Mr Ragubeer from room no 506 am very impressed with the attitude of all ur staff members and over roll performance of the staff and the hospitality I received from them all keep up the good work and will comeback and definitely recommend this facility to every body that needs to come to Mumbai .thank u all and keep up the good work . I stayed at this hotel again as I had been there in the past. Some hotels get worse each time, but the Fariyas just keeps getting better and better. The check in experience was smooth (thanks to Sushma) and the room was clean and well presented. Hotel staff were all very courteous and professional. The Restaurant is first class, with Deepak leading the way there. All in all, staying in this hotel is a great experience and I would recommend it highly. From the doorman to the busboy, excellent. 10 out of 10 Fariyas and staff!!!!
Mumbai, as a city has two faces: Bollywood millioners and Slumdogs workers. All stories I heard from hotel taxi driver Mr. Sunail who is not shy to share his passion for this city and his employment. Fariyas Hotel has fantastic location: walking distance from Gateway to India and Taj Mahal Hotel and yet far from traffic business. Services and hotel crew spirit was unbeatable led by Mr. Dibin and Mr. Kumar who I met during my October visit. All were very excited about upcoming hotel renovation in the near future; Yes, I would love to come back to enjoy your new upgrade with you all.
Reception lost my passport and blatantly lied about having it. I had another company call and they refused that they had my passport and said I left nothing in the room (I left some shoe which I no longer needed as I was flying home). Despite having another passport, I could not check into any other hotels without the passport with a visa nor could I leave the country. I finally got another local to call after shift change and they confirmed in seconds that they had my passport!!! I raised this issue with management (Nilesh, Aarif and Robert) as I lost a hotel reservation which was not refundable and I can see why their front office staff are so useless with customer service. I had a non-smoking room yet they had people smoking in the hallway and rooms opposite with their doors open. Room service bought up breakfast without cutlery nor butter for toast. Shower leaked all over the floor. Bathroom was much smaller than anything in Europe! A friend came to visit but arrived without a passport with ID so reception sent him away without calling me in my room to let me know that they refused his entry. As tourists, our phones didnt work so he took a taxi for 60 mins back to his hotel before he could tell me on WIFI that he was refused entry. WIFI is only available in lobby. HORRIBLE service! A lot to learn!
