forced stay forced stay

I was in and around colaba with a friend and after a full night of booze, i just agreed to sleep over at his place since drink and drive is never appreciated and not safe as well. Finally went there, they charged Rs 300 for a bed and since I had no option, I agreed to pay that amount and have a sleep over. The place is terrible, very dirty, bed sheets were not changed and no water was provided. horrible horrible place only saving grace is you can sleep over and run away the next morning.

It is not bad considering Mumbai price. It is not bad considering Mumbai price.

As you know, Mumbai is a expensive city to stay. If you look around othet guest houses in Mumbai, then you can admit that Delight G.H is not bad for backpackers. The room and bed were small but clean.

Stayed in a dorm for 330 (30 rp charge for 'tax' of some sort), the sheets were unclean on my bed, an when I asked them to change them it took a good hour at least... The manager is a genuinely unpleasant man, who when I asked to book a taxi to the airport tried to charge me double the price! Also the dorm smelled bad, the manager walked round the dorm accusing different people of smelling bad (this is not a joke) pretty sure the smell was from the general lack of cleanliness of the entire place

You won't meet other travellers here, only immigrating Indian citizens trying to find some work in Mumbai (they aren't the problem, I respect them).. The real problem is the staff, not friendly at all, you just pay for the bed/room and you shouldn't expect anything more from them.. They even tried to charge me for an extra night because i checked-in at 11am.. There are only 2 showers for over 40 beds and more rooms, so expect waiting in line to take a shower and the bathroom to be very dirt once you get in. 330/night for a dorm, 550/single room and 1320/double room 10min walk from the gate of India I first wanted to stay at salvation army, but didn't like the early checkout and roughness off the manager, so i followed one of these commission men who led me to delight and i regretted that choice There is only one lift to get to the hotel, which is very often blocked cause someone forgot to close the door for example

I hated almost every moment here I hated almost every moment here

I was not happy with this guest house. It was dirty, the rooms were tiny and had vents that had you hearing all the noise throughout the hotel (there were many) and the bathrooms were atrocious. Staff seemed nice enough, but were completely unhelpful with any information. The location is good, but still not amazing. The price is moderate, but certainly too much for the quality. Don't stay.

Demo Trip Insist that it is cleaned if it doesn't look like it has been.

Demo Trip The dorm has close to 30 beds in one small room. Consequently there is always one person snoring or who doesn't understand that talking loudly wakes everybody up. The single rooms are absolutely tiny, but ok. The air conditioned rooms are ok, but it's one air conditioning unit for all the rooms, so you'd better like it freezing, because you don't get a say in the matter!
