I didn't like this hotel at all. My room was not well maintained, the services provided to us were not at all up to the mark. Their was lack of toiletries in the bathroom. The staff took lots of time to fulfill our request. Also the food quality was not up to the mark. I don't recommend this property.

Hotel is located centrally in the main city. Our room was decent with all the facilities. The service provided by the staff was average. Overall just an average property.

Over all a good hotel but as far as decor was concerned a very old decor.

The property was not so attractive but decent one for a short stay, their airport pick up was convenient and there was no issue with the room quality or service. We didn't take any meal but I will recommend this property.

Hotel is located centrally in the main city. Once we entered the room, it was not cleaned properly. We had to wait in the lobby for 15 minutes. The staff was courteous and polite towards the guest. But the breakfast was tastelss. It was just an average stay in this hotel.

Hotel is pretty good for the price. The property enjoys a good location and provides pickup services from the airport. Has all the basic amenities of a 3 star pool etc. Good however not top notch is my reco.

The quality, the over all hotel service and the behavior of hotel staff was excellent.

Apparently Bombays Hotel trade is on its knees since the terrorist attacks last year and its surprising that despite this getting a good deal and value hotel is really difficult. Hotels in Bombay all seem vastly overpriced and we plumped for the Golden Manor - the self-styled 'best 3 star hotel in Bombay'. Two rooms for two adults and three children cost 240 for two nights which having come from Kerela where we stayed in some excellent 3* hotels was expensive (double) and we expected it to be at least a good to reasonable standard - it wasn't. The hotel clearly had been refurbished over the last few years but then totally neglected and is now in a very poor state; dirty and the rooms were tatty and very small. The service was really poor - we had to ask three times for the extra bed for our third child. The pool was being rented out for swimming lessons all hours of the day and was not somewhere you would want to sit around being overlooked by a massive, noisy and dusty buliding site next door. The deep end was for some reason 12ft deep so would not be safe for very young children Breakfast was appalling with filthy cups and you had to sit outside in all the dust from the building site. They thoughtfully had a large fan to cool the diners but this had the effect of stirring up the dust even more! We decided to have our breakfast around the corner in one of the cafes locally. The hotel is well placed by the beach and with several good restaurants nearby but this really does not make up for the poor value and state of the place. By the way if you have kids and are at a loose end in Bombay (its not the best for kids) go to Water Kingdom 1 hours car ride north of the city. Its a huge clean and well maintained water park which is really great and has some great rides.

Fine but basic Fine but basic

Given the ludicrously high prices of 4 and 5 star hotels in India, there is a huge demand for decent 3*. This example is a perfectly decent effort with a nice pool, friendly, helpful staff and a good pickup service to the airport. Bit it IS pretty basic, with fairly hard beds. Not on my list of ideal romantic hotels - especially when compared to Clark International, its counterpart in Delhi. Clean enough, but far from sparkling.

nice pool, nice food, nice location nice pool, nice food, nice location

Golden Manor has a wonderful location, on the famous Juhu Beach in Mumbai and close to some decent restaurants and 5-star hotels. The rooms are OK and better than what some other hotels rip-off at that price, given the room-shortage in India at this time. They have a nice swimming pool and gym and the food is quite good. Service is below average, though.
